And this is why I hate people who abuse things even if they don't know they are, sigh. So frustrating to fight against MBTs when 'handicapping' myself by using the tank as intended.

Sure, canister shell back in the day was great fun but the tanks were also meant to dual load the shells (albeit it doesn't make much sense in how does a tank load two different shells into one gun but it wasn't an issue gameplay wise until Dice finally got around to balancing it.) But from the get go in BF4, these were supposed to be conflicting main gun options and not complimentary loads like a HMG + Sabot is.

How is it abusing it if it's designed into the game? It's not like people are glitching wit it to obtain an advantage. If you're driving a tank and you don't have this load out you're at a severe disadvantage.

Because the other two main gun shells, canister and guided, do not have independent reloads. They share a reload with the main gun. If you fire the 120mm cannon and switch, they're not available until it's finished reloading.

It's a bug, plain and simple. They just haven't fixed it for who knows what reason. It's not intended.

This is not balanced: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6Sm_e5zc7k

Stop pretending this is intended behavior, it's not. The canister shot from BF3 taught Dice that.

if i get the Premium add on, it says new weapons, does that mean I can only use it on regular servers or only on servers with Premium stuff?

Besides fixing the bug, really I think they should move the staff shell to be another primary selection (AP, Sabot, HE, Staff) rather than having it in addition to the others. Even fixing the bug, the Sabot/Staff combination is still too effective as antitank to warrant using anything else.

Its not an abuse, its just annoying. So much so, that I usually end up using the same load out just even the odds. LOL

I prefer using the either the sabot or HE shell along with the HMG for mowing down infantry, but when everyone else is using the sabot/staff combo it makes winning against other tanks nigh impossible.

I can't uncheck Conquest Large tonight from my BattleSlog filters (so tired of the vehiclefest). Seems like EA and Dice can't go a single day without adding a new bug to this game. No wonder populated servers are harder and harder to find.

Seem like the assignment for the Gol magnum is going to be hard cause the tower in Caspian can be destroy and tower in firestorm have burn off vessel. Then probably there will be too many people camping up there.

However the Staff shell abuse on the tanks is just infuriating and makes playing on any of the heavy MBT maps completely unfun knowing that some dbag is out there abusing it.

That glitch ticks me off. I love the huge tank battles on silk road until I realize some has a machine gun main gun. There are people who get the glitch to go off so consistently that they have to have a macro to be doing it.

The tanks that sit on the hill by G and camp long range fire is pretty annoying as well. But at least that's what the staff shell is supposed to do. I know they were planning on nerfing that damage. Know if they did that yet?

Guided rounds that don't require lock on are a balance issue with this game in general. LAW were too powerful. Active radar missiles people complain about constantly. Stingers people whine about too. Zero skill/zero warning weapons need to be pretty weak to make people want to use the unguided stuff.

I thought the LAW is/was pretty weak personally. I mean sure it's easy to hit with but the lack of damage potential is a pretty major negative. I haven't actually used the Stinger myself so I can't say how they compare. I just roll around with an RPG 24/7, the damage is worth it imo.

I like that SMAW for the same reason except I can snipe with it

The damage reduction for the staff shell is supposed to be in a February update. The other infuriating thing is that the staff completely ignores Active Defense, similar to the LAW, arrrrrrrgggggg.

One glitch that NEEDS to be fixed is the goddamn SRAW. I literally have no idea what the hell is up with that weapon.

Ignoring the fact that a chain link fence is currently the greatest anti- AT weapon armor ever, the missile does whatever the hell it wants. As for the chain link fence, I'm tired of shooting the missile through a fence, having a part of the fence still count as a "target" and the missile taking a 180 either right at me or into the ground.

I once got a helicopter kill after missing, and for the next 10 seconds the missile circled the helicopter, slowly getting closer and than finally hit it.

Another time, I fired a missile at a tank and suddenly with no obstruction the missile took a 90 degree dive into the ground.

What the hell, how can BF2 do it right but not BF4?

I cant recall shooting through any fences, but Ive had no issues hitting anything, including helos with the SRAW. Not trying to sound like an ass, but you do realize that you are controlling it, right?

You didn't read my freaking post at all. It's not an issue of aiming, its an issue of the rocket guidance being bugged to hell and doing things that it shouldn't be doing.

The rocket is bugged to hell. The rocket will literally go 180 degrees instantaneously at some points to hit a heli that you have missed. If you happen to go behind a fence when shooting the rocket, the rocket will do a 180, making trick shots impossible.

Certain walls when they break, their geometry is different from their hitbox, so even if you fire on what seems like open space, the rocket will insta blow up in your face, or if you duck while aiming at open space, the rocket will 180 right back into the ground.

Are you really telling me that you have never seen a rocket go in circles around a heli for 5-10+ seconds before hitting it? There is no skill involved in hitting a heli. As long as the indicator is on the heli itself, the rocket WILL hit even if the initial shot is way off course,

All of 10 minutes ago I fired a rocket at a tank which went straight and than BAM goes directly into the air with NO indication of why that happened. I'm guiding the damn thing at a tank and the rocket suddenly veers completely off course as if I had aimed right at the sun. Which doesn't make sense, if I had misaimed at aimed at the ground, it would curve downwards. Why the hell would it curve up and completely miss?

Most annoying thing ever is how bullets can't go through stairs.

Because you sound kinda mad. :awe:

Ever think maybe the helo you shot at just popped ECMs? Just be thankful you can actually hit something in this game. LOL
