haha I think I was watching the same video last night.

Speaking of launchers, does that china rising MP7 assignment where you have to kill someone with a portable anti-air refer to the stinger/igla? I have several kills with those but no MP7 but those kills were not recent. I've been trying again lately and it's so friggen hard, I only seem to get disables and vehicle destroys, never kills!

Yeah, its stinger or igla. Just go on parcel storm and wait at B. You just have to destroy the vehicle. Then three anti vehicle ribbons. You can use C4 for those, just need to get the ribbons. You need to do it all in one round. Maybe use a heli and go to a remote enemy point, then blow up jeeps.

I don't believe you need the ribbons on the same round, I already show having accomplished that and I did not need to do that for the other china rising assignments. And killing vehicles is easy, it's getting the player kill since they usually bail.

You just need to destroy the air vehicle, they can bail. As far as doing it all in one round, that might have changed, but thats how we were unlocking the weapons. Maybe they changed it, as it was quite the pain in the ass, even when trying to boost. It was a bug that they could be unlocked in the first place.

Oh, good to know.

And as for the in one round, they still have that but they are marked. For the L85 you need 3 assault ribbons (can be received anytime) and then the 40mm, pistol, and defrib kill all in one round. It looks like the MP7 is the same since I show have already accomplished the 3 ribbons part.

I'll try that tonight and hopefully get that vehicle kill.

I've never had that happen, though I have been killed by gunfire right after spawning. To be fair, I've done that to plenty of others. I feel bad about it but if someone spawns right in front of me what am I supposed to do?
 
Setting fov to 74 really improved my game. Went from .5 to .61 (don't laugh, it's an improvement). More importantly, I feel like I actually have a chance now 1 on 1.

Also, no crashes since I updated my gfx driver and reinstalled punk buster (over 10 hours of play).

Does AT have a clan tag?
 
I gotta start playing with ya'll sometime. Going out of town for 2 weeks but in December. I'm settling in around 1.1 k/d which I'm perfectly fine with. I'll never be amazing but as long as I don't totally suck its fun.

The 1911 is garbage. It takes just as many hits to kill, but it fires slower, has a small magazine size, has huge recoil, and is crazy inaccurate. I mean unable to hit a stationary target at < 20 yards while standing still and ADS. I think it may be bugged in fact. I have not tried out the USP 45 yet but from what I heard its just as bad.

The P226 is quite good for general use, but the G18 is best for the typical usage scenario (running out of ammo at point blank range and switching to secondary to finish enemy off). The G18 is actually plenty accurate even in full auto. I can regularly pick people of at medium range with it using short bursts.

I have not tried the other pistols yet. The shorty 12g is hit or miss so to speak, with a mix of 1-shot kills and multiple wiffs at point blank it is very unreliable, but fun.

Try the 1911 with muzzle brake and laser sight (I do the same attachments for USP 45), that's my opinion on those two pistol.
 
So, I tried pistols only tonight. Not only did I get to experience the getting knifed right when spawning, I did it to others! I had a friggen blast and ended the night at my highest so far for "skill" and SPM. I still think the skill number is BS, but whatever, I'll take it when it's high.

Yeah I never understood that either. Im not using any tag atm, but will go along with whatever anyone wants to use so we can recognize each other in game easier. I saw Raasco using the ATOT tag yesterday.
 
Is there zero spawn protection in this game?

The majority of my deaths come right at spawn. Part of it is my own fault I suppose, since I always ignore the little spawn preview box and instantly pick the spawn point closest to the action and hit deploy. Add that to the fact that BF's spawn system sucks and its killing my stats. LOL
 
how the F does the M2 Slam work? it says it works like a mine you can stick on stuff. i stick it on vehicles and nothing seems to happen

dont mines have to be triggered by something running into them?

try this, next time you are on paracel, throw some slams in the water beneath the low bridges the boats go under and see if you take out a few boats.

Does anyone have any tips for leveling up very quickly? I am at 6 and need to be at 10 by Wednesday night so I can play as Commander on vacation with my iPad. May pull an all nighter tomorrow. I have Premiuim edition, if that makes any difference.
