Yep started at 11am CST

Don't forget under game options to change it to launch 64bit! I think its default, but better safe that sorry.

I'm going to look forward to seeing some benchmarks to see if 32 vs 64bit differences if any.

Just finished the preload. That said, Pre-loads make waiting for release that much more unbearable. It's like dangling a slice of ham in front of a dogs mouth but not letting the poor guy eat it.

The alternative of releasing at the same time as making downloads available is much, much worse. 😉

Do Digital Deluxe buyers get the game 24 hours early? Schedule above says 29th, image below says 28th. If it releases @ 12:01 AM on the 28th, my Sunday night just got a lot more exciting, even if I have to reschedule some of my Monday morning appointments!

It's available at 12:01AM EST on the 29th, so 9PM monday night for west coast.
 
Preloaded and installed, all that's left is the waiting. Guess there'll be a Battlelog update too sometime on Monday.

That big orange announcement at the bottom says that's it's "Close" to the 28th that it releases. Duh.
You have to read all the way to the bottom! Man, people are impatient!
 
Can anyone tell me what exactly is the difference between normal and digital deluxe versions please? I can't find any definite answers.

Also, I found normal+premium pack on Amazon, but it's only for Americans, which pissed me off. Is it really only available in the U.S. and nowhere else?
 
do you get the China Rising expac regardless of whether you pre-order? Amazon calls it "a free Premium Expansion Pack".
 
Yeah there's no reason why anyone should pay $59 for the game then another $49 for premium, who pays over $100 for a game? At one time I bought Return to Castle Wolfenstein for $89 and it was worth every penny since I played it online for nearly 10 years- BF games are only going to last 2-3 years until the new one comes out. Wait til it drops in price like it did with BF3 (I didn't have premium until last year when it dropped to $25), even then that was when I quit playing BF3. I'm not even bothering with BF4 thanks to how DICE handled BF3.
