I hope we have the platoon back up and running.. I can't even follow Gully's posts anymore, I am going to need someone to hold my hand through all the new changes. It almost looks like too much new stuff. Although a lot of it looks like "value add" fluff outside the game. New mode this, new screen that, modify this.. blah blah blah.
But let's be honest.. what we really need is expandas to play with us again so we can WIN!
Is anyone upgrading video cards? I would love to jump to a 7870 if someone from the platoon is upgrading...
eh 2x7950's is probably doing to hold me over for a while still, so I probably wont upgrade yet

I just stepped up from my 7970 GHz to an EVGA GTX 780 SC. Zero fiscal sense, but god I hate me some AMD drivers.
So I have a 7970 GHz sitting around. Lightly used.
Hey Gully, as you are a resident badass of BF4 info, can you see if you can find out the differences exactly between tablet BattleScreen and whatever it is that they're going to let us use our second displays for?

Hmm. If that's the case, how do you get your cursor to stop moving your crosshairs, and to start moving across the 2nd screen to click on things? Or do you mean you need to use a different pc to do that instead of a 2nd monitor on the same pc?
Ah, nevermind, looks like that original link has now been updated with this additional info :
Device support: only smartphones and tablets running iOS and Android are supported. For more detailed Battlefield 4 Battlescreen features, such as the map overview, a tablet is required. The Commander feature can only be played on tablets as well.
I guess that answers how they would let you move the mouse from controlling your character mid-game to the map screen and back : they won't. That's understandable.

With plenty of trailers and especially the last multiplayerovému video of Battlefield 4 , we can look for more new maps. The forum is Symthic user J0hn-Stuart Mill put together a list of 7 new maps, which can be found yet. The forum does have 8 of them, but two maps that there is as different as one and the same map, confirmed today that Alan Kertz on Twitter. We know for a total of nine maps and we do not have to reveal only the last map. Battlefield 4 will come in the day of delivery with 10 different maps.
The first two maps we all know, it Siege Shanghai (Siege of Shanghai) and then also Paracelská Storm (Storm Paracel). But now let's look at the new maps, but please keep in mind that not all images must be accurately placed, as it is the unofficial overview. The official version of a similar survey maps we will see later.
Map No. 1 - tropical environment
From this chart we have a single picture because of the flag C, which is named as Hotel. Apparently it is a tropical environment and there is no further information on this map.
Map No. 2 - Operation Locker
(It should be the actual name of the map)
The second map is snowy and you remember it from the trailer for the new Battlelog . This map should be fought mostly inside (on the Operation Métro map style of BF3 ), but also in fully / partially open areas. In the middle of the map is also a place Levolution event sic is yet unknown what.
Map No. 3 - dam, which will flood the city
Like other is the map, which we have already heard something earlier and it is a map of the dam. The flood destroyed the city, so instead of building techniques board boats and scooters. This map we could see in the trailer for the concept Levolution where the dam broke and rolled into the city and water.
Map No. 4 - dam, but nothing that will not flood
Another map is then setting the dam, but after the destruction of anything not flood. On the contrary, but turns into a dirt map similar to the map of Shanghai siege after the destruction of the skyscraper, confirmed in an interview with DICE itself. You could also see it in the trailer for Levolution .
Map No. 5 - Golmud Railway
(It should be the actual name of the map)
For this map there's a lot of images and it seems really great. It will be something on the map style Heavy Metal from Bad Company 2 . The map is apparently true according to the Golmud-Dunhuang Railway .
Map No. 6 - a giant radio telescope
Apparently this is the Aperture Spherical Telescope in China, which began to build in 2011. It is possible that this is the Arecibo Observatory , which is located in Puerto Rico. Levolution events on this map will fall amplifier beam suspended above the telescope. This map was also possible to see the trailer for the concept Levolution .

Map No. 7 - Factory in the woods
This map takes place in the woods near an abandoned factory. We catch a glimpse of it back to the trailer to the concept Levolution . In particular, the fall of a large chimney or a door closing on the wagon from the train.
It would therefore be all for now. The last map we lack, but it is possible that we just missed it. Soon, however, should find an official list of all the maps, so this will have to suffice yet. Well, I'm asking you to say these maps yet? Do you like or dislike? For myself, I say that like it. That is a very nice variation of different maps.
