Yeah we'll see how long that lasts. GoG could get wrecked that way. Hopefully they have some kind of system in place to curtail abuse without making the offer useless.
- How often can I refund my games? Is there some sort of limit?
We trust that you're making informed purchasing decisions and will use this updated voluntary Refund Policy only if something doesn't work as you expected.
This is why there are no limits but instead, we reserve the right to refuse refunds in individual cases.
Please respect all the time and hard work put into making the games you play and remember that refunds are not reviews. If you finished the game and didn't like it, please consider sharing your opinion instead. Also, please don't take advantage of our trust by asking for an unreasonable amount of games to be refunded. Don't be that person. No one likes that person.
People typically abuse systems as described by GOG. Im going to guess changes will be made.
edit:
GOG has this in their FAQs
Hopefully they use that term liberally, sucks when a handful of people ruin a good thing for hundreds of people.
@SMOGZINN
Only issues I have wtih GoG are that publishers often optimize their patch schedule around Steam (meaning GoG often has late/buggy patch releases) and that content updates like mods are often unavailable on GoG (see games like Dead Cells). Neither are really GoG's fault, but it still applies.
That being said, I typically try to buy from GoG instead of Steam wherever possible.
Pretty much me, I like steam for the easy mods and I typically play multiplayer stuff now, steam is simply easier with that if we all have the steam version.

GOG will never allow that. Even Steam doesn't allow such abuse.Hopefully this isn’t spoiled by a handful of bung holes buying, downloading the requesting refunds for hundreds of games.
I requested a refund for a game I purchased a few weeks ago that I hated. It was processed without issue. I agreed to wallet funds so GOG didn't have to pay potential credit card fees.

Borderlands 2 now requires an online Shift account, even for offline single player: https://www.altchar.com/game-news/b...shift-login-even-in-singleplayer-ahMQJ5u9MGph
So Gearbox just silently added cloud DRM into an eight year old game. We can add Gearbox to the ever-growing list of publishers that force a vendor-locked "sign-in" for their games.
What's worse, the Steam store page has no mention of this cancerous malware.

Denuvo is probably the worst DRM out there right now.
