It’s a reasonable question. Nvidia has a solid product lineup and a second to none R&D pipeline. Yet its current deliveries are based on the most ridiculous bubble economies, first crypto scams and now AI hallucinations. So we have an extremely well run company with a market grossly enlarged by grifters and exuberant excess. What to do? Goes back to “the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.”

I think this forum needs to know the political leanings of AI before the mob falls in line to either praise it or lambast it.

Is it made to be more like a fascist nazi or is it more into being woke antifa? There is never an in-between.

This is what many on here need to know before an accurate judgement on the viability of AI can be made.

I think you have to realize that ChatGPT is just a tool. A tool to jack up Stock prices, but a tool nonetheless. Best not to take it too seriously.

I think if the parents had actually been paying attention to their kid, they would have known he was suicidal.

What's going to end up happening is that the lawyers are going to get paid a bunch of money and OpenAI will put in an age gate... which will piss people off.

Will say though... from reading the ChatGPT Reddit I do get there's plenty (alleged Adults, but we are talking about Gen-Z most likely) who had been using it as a Therapist and that's a very bad idea. And they are freaking out over GPT5.

I post here for varied reasons. Some people post here because this place is a familiar safe space for them.

I post here for the dopamine bump as I write out my replies. The real good ones are when I let out slightly audible guffaws or tee-hees as they are being written.

Going back to AI... I just hope these forums aren't being used for training. That would be a compelling reason to be anti-AI.
