She's a beauty. Although, pretty sure I've seen better looking stock wheels on that machine before. Maybe I'm wrong.
You're a lucky SOB to be driving that...you gotta have quite a bit of money to afford one of those suckers. The purchase price alone...and I imagine it will cost nearly $150 to fill the tank from empty.
3. MPG isn't as important to some people. I have a seven mile commute. I don't care if it gets 11 MPG.
A 1970's Cadillac is a land barge. Raptor? Not so much.
That complex/parking lot looks somewhat familiar. :ninja:
1. It isn't all that slow... Given that it is a truck. It isn't that far off of the miata which is a great momentum sports car but is relatively slow when compared to other sports cars. It's one of the slowest but with great handling. The raptor is plenty fast for DD duty.
Barges implies slow and cumbersome. You sure about that?
1971 Cadillac Coupe de Ville:
Wheel base: 130 in
Length: 225.8 in
Width: 79.8
Height: 54.5 in
2014 Ford Raptor:
Wheel base: 144.5 in
Length: 231.9 in
Width: 86.3 in
Height: 78.4 in
Sure, the Raptor is more stylish, but no less of a land barge.
Barges implies slow and cumbersome.
That Cadillac takes 11.8 seconds to hit 60. A *stock* Raptor does it in under 7. 5 seconds flat with a blower. That's better than the majority of "sports cars" on the road.
Big, sure - but "land barge" does not quite fit.
It's in the very back of a large parking lot, lots of spaces available today. And, it wasn't intentional... This thing is so wide that I don't have a good feel for it yet.
So please, no paint stripping gel![]()
It doesn't matter how far you drive. You are still only getting 11mpg.

Big oil fucking loves it when we buy shit like this. :ninja:

I rented an F150 recently (not entirely on purpose, it was a "wild card special" for $12/day and ended up with a never-driven truck), and it was a difficult to park. You can't see the parking space lines over the hood so it's a bit of a "best guess". The reverse camera was amazing though, with its 180 degree view....much better than the Denali's we've been using lately.
I wouldn't say it's better than most "sports cars" - yeah, it beats a Corolla (by a little), but it still loses to a Camry hybrid 4 cylinder.
The answer is always Miata if the question is "What is the most limp wristed 'sports car'? "

Since production of the first-generation Miata began in 1989, the bulk of MX-5s and Miatas nearly a half million have been sold in North America, with 274,081 going to Europe and 165,013 staying in Japan. Regardless of geography, its the most raced car in the world.
