Anyone who says he was a good president after reading this should be exported to Kabul.

This has nothing to do with Monica, nothing to do with famly values, nothing to do with perjury. This is the final statement on his presidency. he should stay in Australia.

YOU WILL BE SHOCKED

and don't turn around and say that Reagon armed the whackos too, because they were fighting communism.

It doesn't surprise me that the bush administration will try to abuse this catastrophy to win votes.

I"m a republican. What a crap story that was. The first paragraph alone lost all credibility. How does this guy know how long they've been planning it, what kind of "sophisticated" encryption and communications equipment they used. Hell I trust 128 bit encryption. The whole article is full of speculations and guesses. Clinton's not the president anymore either. Just let it go for now.

For god's sake I've got a spread spectrum cordless phone, encrytion isn't hard to find, there is no such thing as an unhackable computer network, etc. Its a fine piece of yellow journalism you dug up though.

rockhound, why does the article only speak of clinton then? it's not like he was in command when the afghans were armed by the USA and provided with modern equipment.

if you can't set aside your emotions, don't discuss about this.

they are using radios that scramble their frequency and constantly cycle frequencys to talk to each other so no-one can listen. These radios were given to them by Bubba. I'm not saying that these terrorists who were in the US and doing that bombing are using these radios, but terrorists in the middle east are using them to undermine US interests.

Then when in the hell was he in command moron? He was the president prior to Bush for 8 years. Moron. It mentions only Clinton because it happened during the Clinton administration. Moron. Just like Clinton sold technology to china. Moron.

My emotions are with those families, and if any president, Republican or Democrat did such a thing I would be pissed. But for you to come out with this votes comment is way the hell out of line. They are obviously investigating this and trying to figure out how they did all this without anyone knowing. Part of the investigation. Moron. If the investigation leads to technology sold to them, then that's where it leads. Moron.

first off, calm down.

secondly, i don't think we should put down other people's opinons because they're foreigners... if anything, i think it would give them some objectivity. i enjoy watching the bbc for the reason that i often see points of view on there that i would NEVER have seen on any of the u.s. networks.

but the soviet/afghan war was BEFORE clintons administration, and the afghans were getting TONS of weapons from the USA. Don't you think they were also got satellite phones with encryption to communicate?

stop the namecalling, and don't call my kettle black.

You guys are a little too gullible. One idiot links to some bashing article in what appears to be a christian right-wing slanted website with other stories like

Dems own morals showing - again
Exclusive: Paul Sperry blasts liberals good-'ol-boy hypocrisy

and you're calling for blood already.

Don't be foolish.

Sorry gopunk, but that crosses the line. I'm sorry. That is way, way beyond a simple opinion. How you could even think such a thing. Yea, Bush is just worried about votes. Yea right. Tell me about it. Sorry, but they didn't attack Belgians or anyone else with American equipment.

Sending guns half-way around the world is a lot different than giving terrorists equipment that prevents intelligence!!! MORON

frontlinewarrior, according to your logic preaching murder and statesponsored mass extinction is perfectly alright, but looking at a situation in a rational way is evil?

Well, with Clinton's past record of selling stuff to China, would you put it past him? Yea, and he didn't do that either I suppose. Sure. Whatever.

This is stupid and counter productive... (much like most of these venting threads)... first of all this article seems to lack alot of crediblity... if this were the case... some major newspaper would have broken the news first.

Second... pointing flaws in the president that has given us the most prosperous time in our nation's history is in bad form... he might have done some questionable personal things... but he is a patriot... and shouldn't be considered otherwise.

I don't consider Clinton a patriot, I think he's the world's greatest con-man.
