I guess all those encounter of the 4th kind people's regressed memories are just bunk.

I've been following this show very closely. Bottom line to me is that we don't begin to have a clue about what is currently on this earth already. 1.6 Gigahertz!

This video came up in the UAP hearings yesterday. The silver orb looks just like one of the silver orbs caught on Skinwalker ranch.
I believe we are getting close.

Sadly I am sticking with there is no conclusive evidence of Extraterrestrial. The former President is completely incapable of keeping that secret. He knows it would get him tons of attention.
Only possibility is they kept the info from him knowing that he cannot keep his mouth shut.

You're making the assumption he was even told. Why would the career holders of secrets tell the FNG that's gone in either 4 years or 8 a damned thing he didn't need to know to do his job?

Yeah I’ve had that thought/hope.
I figure if he didn’t ask (which is likely), if not nothing is show.

I can’t believe we are still humoring this nonsense. The size of the universe as others have stated is so massive, the odds of anyone getting here via slower than light travel is laughably small. No wonder we have anti-vaxxers

Exactly something an undercover alien would say.

It seems many “humans” are showing their true colors in this thread.

They are among us. There is no way to explain the extraordinary abilities some people possess, like photographic memories, getting way too lucky on the stock market, leading multiple companies successfully and then losing their minds. Elon Musk is an alien and the continuous shapeshifting required to keep himself in human form is taking its toll on him. Another one is Trump. His power is mind control over dumb people.

eh, I used to be into it, but have become more cynical as I aged. If there are aliens, we'd better hope they aren't 1) hostile and 2) not looking to eradicate pests before they gain interstellar travel capability. Might be time to tone down broadcasts and "we are here" probe missions until we can get our shit together, which I figure will happen just about never. Put another way, we aren't going to pass any "work well with the rest of galactic civilization tests." We kill each other and we are destroying the ecology and our place in it (I won't say "the planet" because the Earth will make a comeback long after we are gone.)

The idea that a race with interstellar tech is going to tool around a planet full of glorified plains apes only to get shot down/captured is beyond silly. We are a long, long way from being able to travel to another star physically...maybe could send DNA and have bots grow habitats/people upon arrival before you are able to pull that off...either way, it's way advanced tech compared to anything we can begin to build now. Any aliens who would bother coming around here--and why the hell would they?--would have tech like microscopic drones to scope us out with. If we found anything it would be those. Even our backward asses can build some pretty advanced small drones.

I know, I know, aliens. They might have a Dune-like inhibition against computer tech. Or a religious edict that says "thou must observe the apes in person".

I guess if you sell me on some only-slightly-more-advanced race buying portal tech and coming through in our solar system to scope us out....then maybe. (Thanks to Stephen Baxter for that idea in one of his novels).

The beauty of their portal technology is that they don't even need to travel. They just punch through the fabric of space-time and land exactly where they want on Earth. And they are apparently dumb. They keep sending scout ships and the US military keeps capturing them and hiding them away. The aliens haven't yet figured out how bad we really are. Or maybe they earnestly want to establish contact. Except those who capture them keep killing and dissecting them for "national security". The aliens can keep doing this forever because they don't have sex. When it's time, an alien just bursts and tons of little aliens come out and eat the remains of their parent.

Dumb. FTL travel is presumed.

Lol. Really. How quaint of you. Presumption of breaking currently understood physics. To believe in technologically advanced being who can only be caught on shaky grainy video. plus a personal attack. How sad you must be to have rational discussions with. See I can do personal attacks too. if you send me $10k I have a magical copper bracelet that will let you see them despite their invisibility cloaking technology

Dumber. An attack on your argument isn't an attack on you, don't take it so personally.

Yeah, a sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Beyond an early spacefaring species long-hauling microprobes between star systems, I don't believe anyone's thought an alien species would roll up on us in a chemical drive. Hell, we already have theoretical awareness that could break the FTL barrier, so it's probably possible for a species that's gotten past the 'throwing shit at each other' phase of evolution.

Self replicating "Von Neumann" probes could spread throughout an entire galaxy the size of the Milky Way in half a million years at a tenth of the speed of light. So no FTL needed.

And where are they? Again, self replicating space ships? You forget time component of space. Really, come on. Bah, I will wait and see the credible radio signals or first real contact evidence. Take half a million years to spread across galaxy 12.5 billion years and what? Wait around? Do you not see the fundamental issue with massive expanding universe almost 14 billion (or 27 billion) years old and the odds of two intelligent species interacting?

And where are they?
Assuming such a thing has been developed within our galaxy (low probability, but possible), there's any number of reasons why we haven't seen them, to include:
a) haven't arrived during the ~100 year window we could have possibly had a hope of detecting them, even with our shitty technology
b) didn't bother to stop near enough for us to notice. If it never entered the inner planetary system, would we see something the size of a basketball with very low albedo?
c) we did and didn't realize it, see Oumuamua
d) it's designed to not be seen/noticed (dark forest theory)
e) it's designed to be noticed, and we're too fucking stupid to figure out how (see a, b)

So, no evidence. 👍
