I'm rubbish at spelling: 17 points out of 27, although I was using the British spelling throughout.

Honestly, if it weren't for spell check highlighting misspelled words in firefox my posts would be grammatically atrocious. I think it helps though; when I see I've misspelled a word I can usually guess the correct spelling after a few tries. Maybe the correct spelling will sink in given enough time.
 
Half of these are wrong. It says "acknowledgement" is an incorrect spelling, but type that into google and see what comes out. Notice how it has no suggested spelling correction?

American vs. British English, man. It says that in the question.

Acknowledgment is the American spelling. Acknowledgement is the British spelling.

BTW I got 20/26, which isn't as good as I should have done, but oh well. And because I got 20 I decided to vote for 20-26 rather than 16-20 (silly overlapping poll options).
