Is Ferarri even going to make it out of Q2 this year? Some of these pre-season test numbers look AWFUL. Sad to see my favorite team doing so poorly.

The car seems very uncompetitive.

Maybe we will see last year's Mac though, very uncompetitive early and a show stealer late in the year. Time will tell.

Right now it doesn't look like a car that can make it through Q2, let alone be a podium car.

Last year they had a somewhat uncompetitive engine (not a huge difference between all of them at this point, however the merc seems to have a tad advantage) and they have never been the best when it comes to aero. With cars depending so much on aero at this point, I hope Ferrari can pull it together.

Since the BBC won't be doing live coverage of every race, whats the best new outlet to pick up the races? iTV? The Speed coverage is kind of lame.

Sky had pretty good F1 coverage on satellite when I lived in Malaysia from '97-01. Any idea what the cost is on their pay channel?

Speed is better than nothing at all, but it sure would be nice to have a better option.

Thanks for the link.

Wow, 175 GBP just to stream, and 363 GBP for the cheapest Sky TV package that includes F1. All moot though for the US market. I guess Speed it is!

I made my prediction 2 days back lol and I have no idea.

I'll change after following the 2 practice sessions though. I am pretty psyched about this, can't wait.

here we go! don't forget to enter your predictions before the start of qualifying.

australian gp tv times (eastern us) :

practice 1: thursday, 9:30 pm, speed.com
practice 2: friday, 1:30 am, speed
practice 3: friday, 11:00 pm, speed.com
qualifying: saturday, 2:00 am, speed
race: sunday, 2:00 am, speed

me personally, i can't wait to see what bbc and sky have for coverage this year.

It sucks that the first practice session is predicted to be wet. The race prediction is going to be pretty tough.. if quali and race are wet too.

Shweet!

Hoping that fp3 will give any indication as to who falls where. As per the commentaries.. McLaren and Mercedes look pretty strong.

I hope I''m wrong and Ferrari is running a race sim while everyone else is on full tilt... but they look like they're in deep sh*t. That car looks like a handful to drive. D:

I really dig the helmet cam Mark Webber is using. Hope they showcase that more.

The McLaren is the only car that looks sexy, the rest of the cars look like ass. It will be easy to root for Button and Hamilton.
