Fucking morons... 'Apple' is not a program

Tue, but the intention was correct. Apple Updater is freaking devious. If Microsoft did it they would be hung out to dry but because Apple do it, it's all cool n stuff.

It's a feature because Apple knows you really want to use Safari instead of Chrome or Firefox.

the current norton is pretty good.

Fusetalk's not on the list?
all of about 3 places on the internet ever used fubartalk, and it did have the benefit of security through obscurity (which was good, because actual security was non-existant)

Flash should be 1. Way to many sites use it when it's not necessary. I don't use any of the other programs listed.

Real Media hasn't been relevant for years now.

Yeah I don't get why some sites even use flash when regular html or a static image can do the same thing. Same with JS, I find it's WAY overly used these days. To me JS should be used as an additional effect/feature, but the site should still be viewable without it. This is more noticable with no script. Like news sites, there is zero reason why they need so much javascript. Most of them wont even show the article without it! Rediculous, really.

Whatever, I love Outlook. Way better than Gmail.

PDF is also perfectly fine...if you don't use Adobe Reader. Try Foxit.

Quicktime is evil plain and simple.
If it were a simple player installation that did not take over your system trying to play every damn file your browser finds I would not have nearly as big as a gripe about it.

But nooooo...they have to just take over every damn thing with a really crappy player. MP3 file opens in a full window to play? Oh that's how Apple does it because they are allergic to multi tasking!

If there would be one thing that Microsoft could do (all in one) and nobody would complain about is their media player. If that truly played everything including quicktime stuff - it would be great!

I have a Canon SD780is point and shoot that takes great videos for a TINY camera. They are quicktime and do play without QT installed BUT to edit them I need QT files. QT alternative does work here but it's a joke that this cannot be bundled with Windows out of the gate.
