Yeah US never started it we made Iraq the 51st state forgot to tell the people and Saddam and we are just doing police actions?
Your lack of information of the facts makes your statements very dangerous to the american people.
This is not a defensive war this is a occupation.

Ouch, my brain hurts. This thread, all by itself, surpassed my quota of stupid sh!t for the day.

Actually, Tylanner, Crimson and Megamorph did that all by themselves. Congrats guys, you've reached a new low. I'd leave too, but it's always reassuring to know that no matter how dumb some of the things I say might be, they'll never hold a candle to "AT posters are Muslim terrorists", "unpatriotic liberals have become detached from reality", and, lest we forget, "LOOK AT MEEEE, LOOK AT MEEEE!"

Great stuff guys, sad to see one of you go. At least Tylanner and Megamorph will be "keeping the faith".

The majority of the people who participate in this forum are not Americans or are first-generation. Whites are the majority in the country, but they are the extreme minority here. Most non-Whites are liberal. They don't mind giving the farm away because the farm isn't theirs. On top of the racially-motivated bias, you have the issue of most members here being young, and quite frankly, naive.

A great deal of the members here are of Middle Eastern descent. Regardless of America being absolutely right in the war on terror, the U.S. is attacking their people. That doesn't go over too well. It's readily apparent that the majority here thinks that President Bush is the problem. I think that speaks volumes. Nothing else really needs to be said.

Keep the faith.
Wow. Pal, I'm not only white, but (in doing my geneology) I've traced back my ancestry in America to the early 1800's. You got serious issues. Nothing else really needs to be said.

Except that the reality is that most Americans really don't like the President. They rarely do. Even people whose ancestors came over on the Mayflower. On Tuesday, they just decided that they liked Kerry even less.

Most Americans don't like Bush? That's ridiculous. Nearly 60 million Americans felt compelled to stand in line and cast a vote for him on Nov. 2, 2004. 60 million would qualify as "most" Americans. Not to mention that he received more votes than any other presidential candidate in the history of this country.

I doubt al would do that. He's an honest guy IMO. I GUARANTEE Megamorph self-IDed as Muslim, and I imagine Crimson may have as well.

I'm white too. Does that mean I can join their little rascist club? ;)

60 million may like him, 56 million don't. That's not "most" Americans on either side. I know math is hard, but trust me on this one.

There are, however, a number of brilliant individuals I converse with here so I can understand your could have been easily fooled.

You don't know people very well do you? On November 2, 2004, 58 million Americans closed the curtain inside the voting booth and asked themselves, "Do I really want to take the chance?"

Do you think Crimson is still reading this thread? Yeah, he probably can't resist although I wouldn't put it past him to bleat and run.

Ah, so it turns out that Crimson was an attention whore after all. And an immature one at that. Oh well, can't say he will be missed. Then again, I'm pretty sure he, like HS, will be back, only to say good-bye one more time.

More people brainwashed than 1930's. See I told you it was a success. Less than 100 years to perfect it.

Hmmm let's see. 164,700 Telecoms jobs were cut, they are not counted against that tota now.

Those were decent paying jobs.

The jobs you are so pround of are minimum wage retail jobs for the Christmas Mall rush.

I think you guys need to realize that your extremism is what drove moderates away from you. This forum is completely and totally out of control, and I see no reason to continue to even try to participate here. The reason our country is divided is because of your absolutely unwillingness to compromise while demanding everyone else do it.
You're right, but of course in typical fashion you'll be savagely attacked instead of the people you're talking to actually thinking "hey, maybe he's right", but then such a reaction is expected.

I agree - I think there's some truth in that statement of his.

But does anyone know if the moderates were driven away from the Democratic party? I wonder if there are any statistics about that...it would be pretty interesting. However, I think the Democrats needed to compromise on some social issues.

Compromise? Kerry wasn't for gay marriage, but civil union. That is the middle-ground, that IS compromise.

Now stop being off-topic, this thread is about Crimson and his childish departure.

actually they were due to te increase in labor need in the South. Yup roofers and drunken drywallers , to repair the damage to the areas hit by hurricanes.

If I didnt have a job right now, i would have gotten a crew together and gone down and done some roofing, i bet you could be mighty wealthy after 6 months of work. All that demand

Well, CNN's exit polls had Moderates voting 54% for Kerry. Bush picked up a single percent of the Moderate vote since 2000...the majority of his lead came from the 3% of Conservatives he got back from the Democrats. Interestingly enough, more Conservatives still voted for Kerry than Liberals voted for Bush. If anything, this election was about the Republicans getting back some of their Conservative base, the Democrats don't seem to have driven the moderates anywhere.

Skoorb, I'm perfectly willing to argue with someone in a civilized manner. But Crimson's "look at me" trolling isn't what I had in mind. And as it turns out, I did look it up anyways, and found out that my gut feeling was in fact right.
