Someone was venturing at one time building a ship like that even bigger, that people would just live on and exist independently off shore at one time.

Like a floating nation more or less off shore, hadn't looked in a long time on where that idea went.
 
Actually, I think the one I saw was even bigger.

But yeah, maybe that was the one I saw.

Till it meets a really big rogue wave one day maybe, heh.

hulls built cheaply in korea or china, completed somewhere else. relatively speaking, those are small to medium sized ships and together have only a fraction of the displacement of what the big yards in korea and the netherlands can crank out.
