That REALLY annoys the hell out of me

I think much of how old a person "appears" to be is how they carry themselves. Act (dress, walk, talk, etc.) like an adult and people will treat you like one.

And even so, get over it. This is really not a big deal.

well im 21 and i probably look 18, especially after a good shave and haircut. I get it every once in awhile that i look younger. Even my younger brother of two years pretty much looks older.

I figure it will come in handy when were seventy huh?

To echo the others....the only thing you can really do to hide your teenage looks is to sport some facial hair.

I look 16 if I drop the beard. Hell I'm only 30 and I'm sporting a little bit of gray in there. Instant decade aging right there!

Yep I always looked way younger than I was.... it does pay off in the end! Me at 41.

Oh and wife is 10yrs younger🙂

OP should start a thread whining about having too much money or too hot of a girlfriend.

The weakness in this rant is epic.

lulss, get some facial features.

I have had worse comments about other things myself, just deal with it....I am sure others deal with worse as well.

society is not changing for you.

Oh I'm not hard on him for having a good time. Shit... those pics have nothing on me when it comes to having a good time...

In fact my first reply to this thread was in regards to his potentially failed ability to present himself as a mature person every day, regardless of fun.

As others have already said, a clear demonstration of your maturity would be to stop getting upset about people commenting on one of your positive features (a youthful appearance).

I do present my self maturely - I never said I didn't.

I posted the first pic cause it was the most recent taken, and the second one because you can clearly see my face, even though its older.

I'm telling you its not the face, forget the pictures. Adults aren't named Tyler. Why don't you plug in the microphone and record your voice in a clip for us explaining a normal day. That will 1. let us know if you sound like a little kid and 2. let us know what your day is like so we can legitimately determine that you are or are not capable of acting your age or older.

Grrrrr...

I'm 5'4", 22 (in a week) and have been told I look 12. It really is annoying as hell. Having very little facial hair and being short does not help my case. I did IT for 2 summers, and having to "meet" 200 new people a week, just made it super lame. At once place, someone even called me "little boy" a few times. Otherwise it was a variation of "you don't look old enough to work here". I would rather be called fat (I'm not) or short than be told I look 12.

Does your mommy know you're drinking alcohol and posting pictures of yourself on the internet? Isn't 12 a little young for that kinda thing?

He whines and moans about it now, but give it a few years, when he sees his friends in there forties, looking like they are in their forties, and he looks like a college kid. He'll be thankful for those comments then.

Edit: hmm, the pics look like a college kid to me, not a twelve-year-old.
