looks and track-pad usability are what macs have and nothing more. nobody has used a adama long enough to be able to comment on the "build quality". and unless all you do is point and click on that Macbook Pro, then the productivity gained from having a bigger trackpad with gesture will soon be surpassed by the unparalleled keyboard of Thinkpads, or, to have 2 or 3 cheaper computers for the price you paid for one.

Talk about the commercial - not your nerdish hard on for your manufacturer of choice.

This is why I still only use PCs. Windows is fine and I can't justify spending extra money just so apple can justify the fact that it's selling "coolness".
Not really. The build quality of say a Mac Book Pro is unmatched in the PC world. The closest you'll find is the Adamo from Dell and it's even more expensive.
Some of it is about cool factor, sure. But some of us like nice things, do why carry around janky plastic Dell notebook if you can afford something better?

Thinkpads are nice, but nowhere near as nice as MacBooks (Pro or otherwise).

Thinkpads with the trackpad and nub? Thinkpads are nice, but nowhere near as nice as MacBooks (Pro or otherwise).

Can anyone post a link to any Mac forums that are bashing this commercial? I'd love to see some seeing as this is a good commercial and there's basically nothing to bash.
