You are missing the whole point I am making. I don't blame them or even what they believe. But, there is something wrong with the thinking rather than rebuilding what was there, they will build instead something that represents what they believe in, is twisted. This is about common decency. I didn't lose a loved one there, but rather than help repair the damage, they decide to build a building that suits only themselves and will be nothing more than a reminder of the pain. Tell me, where is the honor in that?

If the owners of the land want to build a "memorial" on that site, why not make it non-denominational or, make it a "community center" with no religious ties whatsoever.
