I feel sorry for the people that try and stand up for the wasted vote spent on this evil man.

I am also sorry for the children of my generation who will bear the burden of this man, the worst environmental president in history. I really wish he wasn't so busy spending on fighting, and he would actually invest some money into the research and development programs for renewable resources and efficient alternative fuel sources.

I could go on and on, but why bother when it will only fall onto deaf ears.....

Guess what? I pay 2.34 a gallon and if you are so damn ignorant to think that a president controls the prices of anything I have a great piece of land to sell you off the coast of yucatan.... I thought it was stupid when my fellow reps. did that with Clinton. I guess the next thing a guy like you will tell me Bush caused Katrina just to take peoples minds off the next gas hike?

Update - Now down to $2.24 for regular unleaded.

I wish Diesel would come down. Its still $3.35 - $3.67 around here. Those prices make everything more expensive.

No change here, Oil Barons still price gouging.

well there has been a change..

Not at any of the stations around New Orleans or North Shore.

Not one penny movement down.

http://www.neworleansgasprices.com/

Most are at $2.79 around here. I have not seen any of the ones listed at $2.66 in the above link but that is still the same ballpark anyway.

Good 30 cents higher than the rest of the Country apparently.

Price gouging in full effect with blessing by our Government.

Prices here have fallen to a low of $2.70 and have been steadily falling for the last couple weeks. Democrats still claim gas prices are at an all time high.

So $2.70 is cheap gas to Republicans now???

If not for the Internet, you wouldn't be able to get away with your slander, libel and constant misrepresentations.
Yeah he would. The difference is nobody would pay any attention to them.

This thread is still around? From a high of $2.90 or so in my area, it's down to $2.20 in my area. That was yesterday, it might be lower now.

Simply amazing. The Liberals supported President Carter and his double digit inflation, gas lines, and gas rationing on the grounds that we should be paying $5 a gallon for gas. That was thirty years ago.

The liberals supported Vice-president Gore who wanted to tax the American automobile out of existence by raising taxes on cars and gasoline until the average person could not afford to own a car.

The liberals supported Senator Kerry who also wanted to raise taxes on gasoline. Even in 1998 he introduced a bill to raise the taxes on gasoline around the nation another fifty cents.

You are lucky that liberals embrace hypocrisy.

Really? Can show proof of this push for $5 gas then??

The Gas lines were brought on by Carter and not OPEC gaining power over the U.S.?

Let's see proof of this please. Thank you

You don't provide proof of your claims, therefore nobody should have to provide proof when you ask for it.
