A clothes dryer is emergency! How in the hell am I supposed to do my laundry before work next week?
In b4 somebody tells me to put up a clothesline .. in an apartment complex..
Do what a homeowner would do if their clothes dryer broke and they couldn't replace it or get someone to fix it in time - go to a laundromat. Stuff happens in life regardless of you already having other plans. Deal with it or get used to being miserable with dirty clothes.

... That said, "no texts before 9" is bullshit. A text is the phone equivalent of email. She's under no obligation to answer immediately, and if she can't control her Pavlovian response to answer everything that comes on the phone, she should probably just get rid of it.
OP, stop trolling. Your threads are clearly aimed at trying to get a rise out of everyone.
you guys are all so mean!
No. Text messages are generally less asynchronous compared with email. You typically leave text notifications on, even after hours, so people can contact you about something that's actually important and worth disturbing you over.
That's a non-emergency. I wouldn't dream of texting anyone before 8:00 AM on a weekday or 9:00 AM on a Saturday/Sunday (probably closer to 10:00 AM).
Seriously. I don't understand why you would do that. Then, after being told of your faux pas, you would still come to an Internet forum and advertise your ignorance to the world.
What's wrong with you?
It's a dryer. You're a troll.
Because I have things to do today I was "freshening up" some clothes in the dryer when it suddenly stopped working.
I texted my landlord at 7:56 that the dryer had suddenly stopped working. She texted back asking me to fill out a work order and that the maintenance guy "should" come today. And then said please don't text her before 9:00 AM in the future because "she was asleep"
Well, isnt it the responsibility of the landlord if one of their tenants has a situation like this? I dont understand how she can tell me to wait until 9:00 to text her problems. I have things to do today...
I'm not sure if you're an idiot, troll, or this is a 1st world problem. But, the solution: have your wife or girlfriend do your laundry for you.A clothes dryer is emergency! How in the hell am I supposed to do my laundry before work next week?

You're not going to get a repairman at that time anyway.
