Texas and California actually have something in common, and it's their shitty power grids. :p Seems to me it would make a lot of sense for anyone that lives in those places to just setup a full off grid solar setup with hydro as backup only considering the sun both of those places get. I guess the laws/regulations are the problem? I would think Texas is pretty lenient for that stuff though. It's probably one of the most free states. Lack of snow also makes it easier since you can stick the panels even in hard to reach places. It snows like what, once a year in Texas? For that one time of year just get the ladder out to clear the snow.

You would die of heat-stroke in early spring down there! ;)

Pretty sure Texas has anti-solar laws that make them very uneconomical. Plus nearly every HOA bans them.

It was 109 yesterday in DFW.
IIRC Thursday was 85F here, with a 107F heat index.

Today before noon, my work phone basically shut down all apps because it was too hot to function.

85? Whatever you say, dude. We've been setting near record heat in DFW. We are going to cool down under 100 in the next 7 days........

The last week in NYC and NJ has been a heat wave from taking to people back home. Feels like temps over 100. So they were using plenty of A/C

Wow that looks like one hell of a bitcoin operation. They appear to have their own substation and high voltage switch gear and everything. Looks actually quite pro grade. One step down transformer per building it looks like, they must be pulling some serious power.

He really is a scum bag. You would think a man who faced his own problems in life with his disability would be a bit more understanding, but apparently not. Just a low down sleezeball.

He’s too busy shuttling migrants around the country to fox the grid
