When the real racists call me (and other Trump supporters) racist over and over because they are blinded by propaganda it is pretty insulting and sad. Definitely energizes us to vote, as you saw in 2016.

Like I said, it’s interesting that you guys reason entirely emotionally. It’s all about feelings to you.

As to who the real racists are we’ve already shown you empirical evidence that expressions of racism were strongly predictive of voting for Trump. We also know that publicly avowed racists enthusiastically support Trump. I’m sure people will stop calling Trump voters racists when racism stops being predictive of votes for Trump, haha.

I don’t know why you bother with the ‘no u’ stuff, literally no one believes you, it’s like the #walkaway thing, a bunch of conservatives lying to each other in order to make themselves feel better.

Do you or do you not support affirmative action, the promoting of some candidates over others based on race and gender?

Herp a derp!

Like I said I think it's funny that the guy who supports the favorite candidate of actual Nazis thinks everyone else is racist. Yes though, keep telling yourself that those attempting to ameliorate the effects of racism are the real racists. Like I said, literally no one believes you, this is just another lie conservatives tell to each other to make themselves feel better. It's all about emotion to you.

However, indicators of racist resentment and anti-immigrant sentiments proved to be important determinants of a Trump vote—even when controlling for more traditional vote-choice determinants. Despite ongoing discussion about the empirical validity of racist resentment and anti-immigrant sentiments, both concepts proved to be roughly equally powerful in explaining a Trump vote.

In short, results like this are why people call Trump voters racists. Because empirical study showed that racism made people more likely to vote for him. I'm sorry if that makes you sad or uncomfortable but that's your fault, not mine. Don't want to be considered a racist? Don't vote for racists... and we all know it's undeniable that Trump is an extreme racist.

Today liberals are the real racists, they're just too blinded by white guilt propaganda to see it, and there are a lot more of them than there are alt-right Nazi types. You didn't answer the question about affirmative action...

I can only imagine the billions that would have been spent on ads against Sanders branding him a communist and socialist that would destroy America if he had been the party's nominee.

It's certainly difficult to believe a man at that age could competently navigate the public opinion nightmare that Republicans would have thrown at him. IMO, it'd take Obama and Bill Clinton levels of youthful charisma to have any chance of breaking through the noise.

On its own, Affirmative Action is racism. As for who believes that, Gallop has an idea....

When the Supreme Court affirmed College selection based on race, 65% opposed them.

Attempting to compensate for racism is not racism. The idea that we should pretend racism doesn't exist and do nothing about it is absurd stupidity.

This is the same thing as scolding a police officer who shoots someone that is trying to shoot other people by saying 'you're just as bad as he was!'

Using racism to fight racism is the left's answer. But make no mistake, it is indeed racism.

So you're not a racist but you support racist politicians and policies? Is that what you're saying?

No, I've been clear, I don't support racism in any fashion (including the left's racism). I think it is nothing more than a leftist talking point to call Trump a racist. He was bff's with Oprah, no one ever accused him of such before he ran. He runs as a Republican and bam! He's a racist, the left says so.

Much of the dilemma you attempt to solve would be answered by Basic Income, and other policies to address income inequality.

Is it far fetched compared to simply continuing racism? Sure. It's not the easy answer. But nothing worth doing is ever easy. You'd lose a chunk of this nation's race resentment if people were not pitted up against each other by the color of their skin while competing for jobs and college.

You're right, people who aren't racist routinely say things like “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks.”

You have no proof that they're doing worse because of "racism". Is your proof really that inane article with that speculative theory about what conservatives think of others? Sorry, but it's painfully obvious that Asians don't parent differently just because conservatives say they're smart and good.

More he said she said. You're using an absolutely unconfirmed meme as your evidence of racism, and you claim I'm the one that's making points based on emotion? Pretty weak dude.

Now on the other hand people like you do believe in racism, you've just managed to make it socially acceptable and given it a candy coating with a nice sounding label, "affirmative action."

Unconfirmed? Hmm, that's a tough one. Let's ask Donald Trump if he said it or not:

The stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.

MR. RUSSERT: He says that—and he quotes you as saying: "I've got black accountants at Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. Those are the kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else... Besides that, I've got to tell you something else, I think the guy is lazy"—referring to a black gentleman.

"It's probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It's not anything they can control... If anybody ever heard me say that, I'd be in a lot of trouble. But I have to tell you, that's the way I feel."

MR. TRUMP: I never said it. I don't even know...

MR. RUSSERT: Donald Trump...

MR. TRUMP: I hardly know this guy. He was running one of my casinos for a short period of time. He was fired—we fired him because he wasn't doing a very good job. He wrote this nasty book. He made up stuff. This is like Jon Lovitz on "Saturday Night Live," the liar. "I went to Harvard. Yeah, I went to Harvard." This guy, I hardly know him. He made up this quote. I've heard the quote before, and it's nonsense.

Go figure, someone Trump fired would say something negative, even if untrue.

Oh good, so he later denied it when he was running for office after previously admitting it when he had nothing to lose. Well that sure seems credible to me! After all, Trump has a well-deserved reputation for honesty.

lol.

Oh good, so a jaded fired employee with a book to sell said something provocative and negative about Donald Trump. Has to be true, right? "Seems credible to me!" After all, fired jaded employees have a reputation for honesty about their past boss.

Lol if you believe trump, you really are naive. Since starting his campaign Trump has made more than 5,000 false or misleading claims*. The man constantly lies about everything, there is no way you can deny that without being diagnosed a simpleton.

I'm actually curious and maybe you know already. What is the reason not many brown people supported Bernie? What was in Clintons message they liked over his?

Clinton had been working with leaders in those communities for decades across the south and those relationships were really important in her getting endorsements that helped her.
