Wow, I am shocked that so many here seem to support the school forcing students to call people like the 9/11 terrorist freedom fighters, people who murdered thousands of innocent people. I hope none of you have family members who died on 9/11.

Students wore burkas in a school in Texas as part of a geography class. Many parents are upset that the school is promoting Islam and



The students wore the burkas but weren't taught about the fact that many women are forced to wear it and face death/beating for refusal. As well many parents are angry the school is teaching a biased curriculum.

There was no mention of Christianity or any teachings during that class. As well the students were told to call terrorists "freedom fighters"

The teacher and everyone responsible for this must face discipline and need to be suspended or fired for allowing this to even happen. There is nothing wrong with promoting tolerance of other religions but this wasn't that at all by refusing to mention the underlying facts about the burka and calling terrorists "freedom fighters"

What do you think should happen to the teacher and everyone else involved with this?

I may have written some articles for other sites but I didnt write this article. Yes I agree with you about no attempt for clarification about the claim but based on this case and other cases I have a hard time disagreeing with them.

Also the article is from MSN at the bottom of the OP. The WND was only used for that one quote at the start.
