Dude, we already got her believing in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny. Although her brother is doing a masterful job of un-brainwashing her on that score.

I was brainwashed as a kid regarding political issues. I do no such thing with my kids. I express no real opinion on politics to them.

The only exception to that rule is that I encourage them to have friends that are minority and attempt to put them into activities where they are exposed to those from other cultures. My conservative parents brought me up to hate minorities and I think it was wrong of them to do so.

2. "I own guns and I hunt" - does not lend credibility to your argument. This is how deranged gun control Nazis open their arguments. The 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with hunting.

Tell that to the Morris county grand jury who are charging a man with attempted murder because he pistol-whipped his wife.

A Livingston man who allegedly struck his estranged wife in the back of the head with the butt of a gun in Morristown and barricaded himself in his home for hours before surrendering to police in February was indicted Thursday on attempted murder charges.

Donald Ebert, 54, Ebert was also indicted by a Morris County grand jury on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and weapons possession, according to NJ.com.

I'm pretty sure I can club you to death with my pistol no problems. I can crack open a pistachio nut as well. I can use it as a laser pointer. It has many uses unloaded. Are you being obtuse for some particular reason?
 
So for the folks that would actually show up with firearms to protest those four ladies having that meeting, why would you do that rather than not bring along the hardware?

I'm curious because it's not something I would ever do, although I do own firearms myself.
 
I think Spidey is actually making a fair general point, which is why this sort of thing irritates me like it does. Guns are not protest signs or fashion accessories.
