U.S. Rep. Steve Stockman went missing for two weeks then blasts the media for essentially ignoring him and chasing meaningless stories. there has to be more to this the whole story seems odd.

I had the same thought, I think it was a State Rep (not sure where) went to see his mistress in Venezuela? If I remember correctly at least that guy made up some odd story about hiking somewhere before he left.

If a politician went missing and no one in the media was around was around to report it, would the public give a shit? Now I think we know the answer to that question.

lulz. It was the Governor of South Carolina. His aids told the media that he was "hiking the Appailachain trail," because, you know...it totally makes sense that a governor would suddenly start hiking the AT without any prior scheduling.
