no there was not.

it was completely an attempt to ban abortion, with a shitty technicality..... they knew exactly what they were doing..

iirc it had to do with, abortion clinics, being able to secure a room, in a nearby hospital IN CASE something went wrong and the patient had to be rushed to the ER (the law stated they needed to have a room reserved all the time)

i think the number was like 2........2 clinics in all of the state, that had this available...

Yes and let us not forget that the doctors performing the abortions had to have "admitting privileges" at nearby hospitals (which no hospital would give them do to the controversy) and the Judge kicked that in the ass with this ruling.

Yea me too...lol So glad this got stopped in it's tracks.

It arbitrarily raised the standard of care in an attempt to create a de facto ban on abortion.

Those post are a good example of why the United States is turning into a cesspool.

I am ashamed of humanity, and I am ashamed of the way children are being murdered in the name of "a womans right".

As for the opening post, the judge should resign. This is a terrible decision.

No, you are an example of why the US is turning into a cesspool and you should be ashamed of yourself, period!

Because the freedom loving liberals would never tell men what to do

*cough* Vietnam draft *cough*
*cough* Korean draft *cough*
*cough* World War II draft *cough*
*cough* World War I draft *cough*

Or as a more related note. Telling men to pay child support to the women he chose to have sex with.

What a fix!! Time you used the head on your shoulders instead the one that fits in your hand.

Never pass up the opportunity to compare apples & aardvarks, particularly when you can invoke your misogynist agenda.

Oh, and men who actually have sex with women are keenly aware that pregnancy is a possibility, regardless of the precautions taken. In that, they realize that they may be held accountable for their actions by forces beyond their control. Better to force women into abortion than live up to your own obligations, right? Such a loving perspective.

No, partisan politics and the abuse of the system with backdoor legislation are examples of why the US is "turning into a cesspool".

Abortion rights are settled law, have been for 40 years. You could always move to Ireland, for example. Or you could work towards providing women with the kind of support that would encourage them to carry a fetus to term. You'd have to start by getting away from slut shaming, one of the Right's favorite pastimes, move on to ways to help women carry & rear their children, provide better adoption services, so forth & so on.

If you want to make it your business, invoke your morality, then you need to make it your responsibility, as well. Or just jump up on your imaginary moral high horse.

Haha, the same old arguments as ever. Apparently being forced to take responsibility for your actions is slavery. Sorry guy, equality for all means no special privileges for men.

Hey, at least by his own logic he supports gay marriage now.

Do not hide immoral behavior behind the shield of law.

Do not attempt to enforce your morality on everybody else in violation of the Law.

As I offered, what have you done or do you propose to make abortion less attractive to women who don't share your POV? Shame them? Rave on an internet forum? Get all maudlin over something that's really none of your business?

Just take solace in the idea that they'll all burn in Hell, put on your smug, pray to Jesus, imagine a world outside your basement.

Ironically that is the exact same argument radical conservatives would use for banning abortion.

Also in no way applies to the draft.

You were throwing a fit about the government telling *gasp* women what to do.

When the government has routinely told men what to do as well.

I'm confused. Are you implying that abortion is a bad thing?

So dishonest. Women have the right to choose, men have the right to not participate in acts that may result in pregnancy. Everybody knows this going in.

Your rights stop where my nose begins.

A womans rights stop when life begins.

A woman's rights stop where the law says they do, regardless if it puts your self righteous nosey nose out of joint or not. It's none of your business what a woman chooses to do with her body.

It's the price of living in a secular society. You know, like minding your own business.

Liberal: Where your so Tolerate your brains fall out of your fucking head. Tolerate is an oxymoron. Only when it appeals to their cultural/political screwed up belief system.

The courts and the bastard attorneys will be an end to this great nation. It's one cluster fuck decision after another. Just look at Prop 8 in California. People voted for it, courts shot it down negating the people's will.

Yet it does for women?

They are taking responsibility by having an abortion. As we have covered before, nobody considers an embryo to be the same as a baby. When there is a baby you have to take care of it. When it's an embryo you can have an abortion.

Always equal responsibility.

Interesting. Yet people can be prosecuted for murder when an in vitro child is killed in an assault on a pregnant woman?

Yea, lets mind our own business.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/rotherham-child-sex-scandal-resulted-4137542

One victim, who got *pregnant TWICE to the same attacker, said: “I was groomed and abused, but the police took no action.”

When she broke the news to her abuser he told her to get rid of the baby or be murdered. Jane said: “He told me they would do a DNA test and he would be jailed. He said his friends would find me and kill me.”

Lets mind our own business when it comes to crimes against humanity.

How about no.

Yeah, it's about 30 that ban abortion for any reason. Roughly 36 more allow abortion only to save the woman's life.

There are 195 countries in the world, 196 if you count Taiwan (which happens to allow abortion). Beside the already mentioned 66, 72 countries have varying degrees of regulation and 61 countries have no restrictions at all. Several of these, like Canada, do not have any laws regarding abortion at all.

So, your point (besides being wrong) was?
