Tesla Model III preorders have started

They just started showing up in my state. Blue is definitely "the" color. Also, the 3 looks way better than the S, imo.

My buddy just check his reservation (I think he got it like the second day, the website was too clogged the first day of pre-ordering) & it was updated to late 2019. So he's still looking at almost two full years, dang!
 
I cashed in my reservation. Tesla sent the check fairly quickly. Tesla store near my house has four Model 3's in their lot awaiting the owners to come get them. One already has an Uber sticker on it.

Car looks better in person than in pictures though.

If I were still in college, having a Model 3 & driving for Uber would be living the dream haha.
 
Just got the invitation to configure! But I really want find one in a showroom before writing that $60k check. There are none in Boston area.
