At the risk of getting back on topic, it's all going off...

It's morning now in Mumbai, many parts of the city are still under control of terrorists, and the rest has ground to a halt as people are being told to stay at home.

At least 101 people killed including at least 6 foriegners.

In other news, a convoy has been attacked outside the US embassy in Afghanistan, and protestors still control Bangkok airport.

The magnetic fields wouldn't do the knocking out. All the objects prone to the field would go flying to one end/wall of the rooms. If those terrorists were wearing any body armor, they'd go flying into walls. So would their weapons.

Of course, this is assuming such a field is possible. I'm totally making this up as a theoretical counter-terrorist method here.
