I called a family member who lives in Canada. She said that the news reported that it was terrorists who hacked the power company's computers that put everything into a blackout. Funny that you didn't hear that on American news.
I knew something was up when they reported that from Toronto to the East Coast of the USA was out of power. If I can design a redundant, fault-tolerant computer network then surely power networks can be that way too? Then how can one lightning bolt take down power for 1/3 of Canada, and North America?
I knew something was up with what the news was reporting. Despite what my immediate family said, logic was leading me away from what the propagandists were telling me.
Edit: Weather region shows NO lightning storms
