We, the undersigned, feel FOX's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" has a lot of potential, and has creatively improved over the last several episodes of season 1.

The show may not be doing as well as FOX hoped in the ratings, but the buzz online and offline is an indication that the show has a much larger fan base than indicated with the outdated Nielsen system. Every episode has reached iTunes top 5 downloads, which is further proof that more people are watching than shown.

As of the date this petition was created (03.03.08), FOX has not officially cancelled the show, although it has neither been renewed.

Please do not let another quality show suffer with a premature cancellation. Too many quality shows are being cancelled without being given the chance to build a large following.

We hereby petition FOX to renew the show for a second season.

This is a cool show. They actually managed to make it not suck. Let's show Fox that we do want season 2!

yet another show FOX is threatening to cancel? Sigh. Why do they even bother with sci-fi stuff?
 
For the most part I think the show devalues the franchise, but the last ep was worth watching. Im also surprised by the performance of the 90210 guy. Wasn't as bad as I thought he would be.
 
Yes i did like Johnny Cash's When the man comes around a lot. Liked it so much that i bought it online. Awesome show.
 
This is why I didn't even bother starting to watch it, and don't bother starting to watch most new shows. Every show I start to get into gets canceled. We Americans have bad taste in TV, and the networks don't help by throwing in month-long hiatuses and moving shows around in the schedule.

i dunno. i think the show is worth it just for Summer Glau! 😀
 
I am enjoying the show myself, though it does seem a little slow. I'd like to see Cameron/Glau be utilized a little more though. Lets see some character development, let her humanity grow a little.

They haven't decided yet. It hasn't been officially renewed, therefore it may be canceled. And seeing as so many people like the show, it probably will be canceled.
 
as much as i liked how they used the song during the raid scene, are people seriously just discovering this song?! has no one here seen the 'dawn of the dead' remake?! to me that is the de facto use of 'when the man comes around'.

Thats why I don't bother to start watching any new show on FOX. They are cancel happy.

Err, have you been sleeping through the episodes? What do you think they've been doing with the ballet, the "making conversation" and the discussion about lying? John even showed some affection for her when they had to remove her chip to interface it with the traffic network. It has to be a gradual process or it would not be believable at all.
 
Really hope they don't cancel it, but I won't get my hopes up. I just discovered Firefly in the past few months, and if something that good can get cancelled, there's little hope here.

My wife doesn't really get into the sci-fi stuff, but this show has kept her interest.

The only bad part is that I have to keep telling why what is what because she never watched the movies. In fact, for her to keep watching and being slightly confused, it must be good.

true enough. my sister never watched the terminator movies. she started watching this awesome show and was confused so i had her watch the 3 movies. now she really likes the show. hopefully they'll renew it.
 
They'll probably cancel it because they actually have to pay actors, as opposed to "reality" (ie., free casting and no scripts) crap they keep spamming us with.
