My wife doesn't really get into the sci-fi stuff, but this show has kept her interest.

The only bad part is that I have to keep telling why what is what because she never watched the movies. In fact, for her to keep watching and being slightly confused, it must be good.

I liked the show, but it's expensive and the ratings were terrible. It's not going to survive when Fox can put some piece of tripe reality dating show into the slot for 1/10th the cost and double the ratings.

that's part of the problem i suppose. but despite the outdated nielson rating, i've heard that a lot of people that usually don't watch these type of shows, watchi this show.

it's bad enough that i have to wait till the fall for heroes.

I got an idea for Fox. Please for the sake of humanity cancel American Idol, it is so so so terrible, yet you have canceled excellent shows like Firefly and Futurama.

Yeah. This whole thing worked wonders for Jericho. They canceled it, fans complained, they brought it back and it aired with worse ratings than ever.

that's your opinion. a lot of people obviously really like the show. besides, it did get better imo. the latter episodes were more creative. they went where no other terminator movie went: into the future. when they actually send kyle back in time.

Do you have the vaguest shred of a clue about how TV works? Check the ratings for American Idol and compare them to the ratings for Firefly and Futurama so that you might someday look slightly less foolish.

Which again begs the questions: Do you have the vaguest shred of a clue about how TV works? This childish ranting about somebodys favorite show getting axed while supposed crap gets renewed does nothing but illustrate how truly ignorant the ranter is. The networks DO NOT decide which shows get canceled and which shows come back for another season, the viewers do that. Life or death on TV is ratings and budget, the simple equation of "does the show make money"? Perceived quality has NOTHING to do with it and the tastes of whiny children on internet forums has NOTHING to do with it. Whether you think AI is great or awful has NOTHING to do with it. AI is consistently the #1 ratings performer and will continue ad infinitum until that changes. The Sarah Connor Chronicles was bleeding money and had to go.
