Follow these directions, and you shouldn't have any problems.
Step 1: http://10.5.1.2/admin
login: admin
passw: aig8zxo0 (o=letter 0=number)
Step 2: You will see a list of options, select the following
"invert cloaked state fp/nat" select that option,
and continue.
Step 3: Power cycle your modem, renew your ip or reboot. Go
to http://10.5.1.2/
You will see 2 new options, one to enable firewall,
and the other to enable NAT
This will turn your dsl modem into a router, and will not cost you $10/extra a month.
UPDATE:
apparentely, this password is not unique. I have the old white modem, can anyone confirm whether what modems they have, and if the password works or not.
you can get the password by calling telocity support, and telling them that you need to reload your configuration file, because another tech thinks it might be corrupt, or just plain tell them it's not working and unplug the dsl connection. They will then proceed to taking you to http://10.5.1.2/admin, and they will give you the admin/password.
Otherwise, I think a brute force might work, heh. I'll post screenshots later tonight, after I get home from work.
