WTF, half the shows people are naming were not poorly marketted, they just weren't popular. Carnivale was marketted out the wazoo by HBO and was marketted appropriately. It just did not keep people's interest. Perhaps because it was slow as a snail in molasses the first season. Dark Angel? I saw an ad for that every 5 seconds when it was on.

dark angel was pushed more than prison break

- Enterprise (can't beleive they really dropped that one, I mean come on! I'm not even a serious Star Trek fan, I mean I don't wear strange uniforms and don't build futuristic weapons at home but still, it was cool!)
- Space Above & Beyond
- Treshold
- Dark Angel
- Sliders

They wanted to cancel Sliders for a long time before the end and they should have, too bad things turned out as they did. One of the best series *EVER*.

Enterprise got cut not because of lack of advertising but lack of a quality storyline that alienated both trek fans and potential fans

I could have gone for a full season of evil enterprise episodes like they aired towards the end of the series. I'd love that

firefly was cut because it wasn't a good tv show. no amount of promotion would have saved it. sci fi shows don't work all that well to begin with, and that one was weird and not eay to get into.

arrested development probably suffered from lack of advertising and stable time slot, but that show was also very hard to get into. a lot of the jokes were very hard to get if you'd never seen it before. if you'd been watching for a while (or from the beginning) it was absolutely hilarious. otherwise, it was *huh?*

You do realize you're in the severe minority, right? Like say, 30 to 1 or greater disparity? Although I've read people's comments online about not liking it, every person I've showed it to personally has bought the box set within a week or two. Maybe as many as fifty people right there. So far in personal experience it's about the only unanimously loved show.

Firefly...

worst
cancellation
EVAR!

i didnt put futurama cause i thought it did get decent marketing. that said, any show with more then 4 seasons under its belt really shouldnt be listed...

Family Guy died because Fox wanted it dead. They shuffled it around the week to purposely confuse fans to drop ratings to justify axing it. Which sucks because since FG has returned, it's lost plot. Random references were fine, but now it's the entire show.

Firefly is a good one to mention.

Horribly mismanaged by Fox. Hmm.. I'm noticing a trend here. 😀

Fox, Friday, "F", Firefly, Farscape, Futurama, Family Guy.

Yeah, there's a trend all right.
