Truckers make me angry. Not all the time have you, but the truckers that think they own the road. This morning for example, I'm on the highway... driving the same way to work I always do. When I get to my exit, what you've gotta do is Exit to a connecting highway, then exit immediately by staying in the exit lane (not sure if I got that point across, but continuing on...)

Today, as I come up on the connecting highway where people can come into the exit ramp, a trucker immediately is pacing me... really doesnt matter to me because I'm still exiting (not merging). Towards the end of the lane, I notice that he finally put his blinker on to come over to exit... so I accellerate to allow him room to come in behind me (I was up near his cab at this point). He cuts into the lane INSANELY close to my bumper, continues to stay on my arse and blow his horn for a good 10 seconds. I check in my mirror and he's cursing up a storm at me. WTF? It wasnt my fault he chose to wait till the end to throw his blinker on, it's a common occurance to have people not exit! When I saw the blinker, I made an attempt to get him into the exit ramp....

I understand that truckers are essentially the backbone of this country, but c'mon Redd Truckerman! Don't be doin stupid crap like that. You're driving a very big, very dangerous vehicle.

what pisses me off is when i see a car 100 yards ahead about to turn into my lane. it just sits there, deciding whether or not to pull out, and then when i'm about 10 yards away it finally makes its decision and cuts in front of me...then they typicallly travel at about 10mph below the speed limit............ARGH

I hate it when traffic is so bad...that you have to stop on the freaking highway. I also hate people who are about to miss their exit...so they try hard to cut across teh emergency lane/grass/whatever to get in & almost hit you in the process.

People who do 45mph on the backroads that paralell the jammed up highways.... if you wanted to do 45, get the hell back on the jammed highway... this is where I want to do 60!!!!

SUV'ers who do the speed limit on backroads and still cant stay on their side of the yellow line! :|

I think the best answer is...other drivers. I hate other drivers. I just wish they would all get out of my way.

Anyone that passes on the far right lane, making it their fast lane. This is very dangerous and often I move over to the far right lane to cut them off from causing an accident.

I have to pass on the far right lane sometimes if someone's hogging the passing lane, don't do that.

I am talking on a 3 lane or more highway. And Sorry, I didn't mean cut off. I just move over way before they even get there cause it just drives me insane when someone goes 80 mph in a slow lane.

Blinkers are good things. If I knew he was coming over, I would have sped up / slowed down to allow him to come over.

If so then maybe he should have quit pondering and signaled his intention instead. The OP said that as soon as he saw the turn indicator he got out of the way to allow the truck to merge.

Not a whole lot really. It's dangerous out there, and most of the time I'm transporting my kids. I can't really allow myself to get angry. I am, however, often apalled or amused at the stupid, petty 'fights' people get into while driving very large, very dangerous, vehicles.

Here in Northern Virginia we call that the "phantom obstruction". If the braking action is done properly it creates a nice 3 hour ripple in the rush hour traffic flow. You end up sitting in a line of molasses up to the point of the phantom obstruction then like there is a guy with a green flag you accelerate back to speed marveling at the invisible problem that caused the slow down.

this happened to me 2 days ago...

there is a 4 lane street in a busy area, and when you come up to the light, it is green, but you have about 3 sec to go through it, or else it turns red...

so someone from the lane to my left decides to stop right at the light (while it is green) and go into my lane and come to a dead stop and put on their right turn blinker. yet they dont go! the light is green #@$#)@$

so then the light turns red, and THEN they turn, leaving me at a red light... if they didnt cut me off, i coulda gone through... if they cut me off but went through, i coulda gone through.. but NO... they cut me off and then stop while the light is green

ugh
