Posts like these really piss me off.

You guys are acting like the five people who died just got done murdering 7 people for no reason all the while robbing a bank and running from cops. It's a fvcking celebration in here, and it's absolutely disgusting.

These kids were still teenagers who had done NOTHING wrong in their entire lives, they made a very, very stupid mistake by driving the way they did, but to say they deserved it shows how truely of an embarrassment you are to humanity. I feel there's an underlying problem with people like you; it obviously makes you feel better to post this garbage, but on a psychological level there must be a mechanism that enables you to think this way, as I don't understand it at all. I'm not psychologist but I'm just going to say you were dropped on your head as a kid several times and thus, bringing about your erratic thoughts on how kids making mistakes somehow deserve to die.

You want evolution to win? Don't wear a helmet next time you take your bicycle for a spin and get hit by a car so I can come in here and say how you deserved it.

That is the truth right there. My good friend's boyfriend is from Florida, has a CL63 AMG and his brother drives a S65 AMG. His dad pushes a Bentley and so does the mom...rediculous. The kid is pretty cool though and not an asshole as one would think.

Uh, not everyone in FL is rich and drives a Benz. It's pretty obvious you guys have either never been to FL or if you have never left your friends exclusive neighborhoods. FL is just like any other state - there's rich areas and there's poor areas and they're often not far apart. I live in the Tampa Bay area and I see 100x the teens driving riced Civics over BMW's and Benz.

Back on topic... These kids were plain stupid but it's not uncommon. I used to race my muscle car ('70 Nova SS) with friends and other enthusiasts. Sometimes we raced on the track and sometimes we raced on a wide open 1 way bridge late at night (Gandy for those in the area). It's easy to call the kids stupid now that I'm 40 but in doing so I make myself a hypocrite. In the end it's just a tragedy for all involved.

What's your source on that statement?

EDIT: Do you know what they all did wrong? The driver wanted to drive a sports car on a airstrip at 3:45 in the morning @ the highest speed possible, and the passengers decided to go along for the ride. They made their decisions, and now they are dead as a result.

Interesting, you do make logical sense. However, for some reason, your line of thinking makes me inclined to call you a "loser"...

just imho...

If that were true they would still be alive.
They took a chance and did something stupid. They lost. Did they deserve it? Well... "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time". Or in this case.. "Don't do something that will very likely get you killed if you don't want to die"

Yes it is sad these kids are dead but it was their poor choices that caused their deaths. Yes.. I've done stupid things as well when I was a kid. But all I risked was broken arms, legs, bad cuts, and bad bruises. I was always mindful of the worst that could happen and stopped short of things that could get me killed.

What a waste of such a beautiful car! I spit on people with this stupidy, not trying to offend any one, but who really is this stupid? "hey lets take my dads 85,000 dollar car he just bought, sneak on to John travoltas private airplane strip and see what this bad boy tops out out!" "Oh ya sound fun! Lets go!" How didnt he know there was a cut ledge? He was proably there before, and i wonder if the tree wasnt there, and they landed just perfectly if they would have survive, then they would probaly never do that again. Again not trying to offend any one, and if i do, im sorry, but i do feel bad for all there familys for one kids stupidity.

Yeah, because they only made one of them, right? Who cares if a mass produced car was destroyed?

Actually i dont think they are produced in masses, not every one has that kind of money to pay for something like that. I dont have much so I see everything gratefully.

It refers to an old member 'nef' who posted a lot, without much real content. If a thread seriously goes off the rails topic-wise, it's a nef thread.

24 posts per day would make you a lifer in 417 days, LOL.

His last post on the M5 forums was made at about 4am and the crash happened at 3:45 am. The fact that I've discovered this makes me feel like a big time dork.

Car crashes (NSFW, Gore)

This may sound weird, but how do the bodies split right accross the waistline? Is it the seatbelt, or lack of?
Unimaginable amounts of force applied over the broadest portion of your body will tear it in half. Your midsection, between your ribcage and pelvis, is the most vulnerable to shearing.

4 of those were just along for the trip, not the ones doing the dumb act.

ive been up over 120 on my bike and up at 110 in a car. i have no real desire to do that again, unless its on a track.

looking at the pics of the runway, i cant seem to find this 85 ft embankment they flew off of. looks relatively flat to me.
Oh yeah, I go for joyrides with my friends at night on runways. I've got perfectly good common sense.
