IF video shows the kids actually start opening their door, that might be something. If it shows him ducking away as if they brandished a gun, that might be something. But..... if it just shows him drawing and shooting, this man is going to prison.

Being someone who listens to rap music very loud and having been told to turn it down. It's almost never in a polite way, typically it's in a very over the top harsh way.

That's unfortunate. I keep hoping there will be video: his mannerisms and gestures (even if we can't hear the audio) will be very telling in describing his state of mind when he asked them to turn it down.

Doesn't matter. If he thought he saw a weapon, there doesn't NEED to be a weapon.

The verbal threats against his life are enough to justifiably shoot, regardless of a weapon. In florida that is a assault, an imminent threat to life, that means OK to shoot.

It absolutely is not.

First of all, the police were not there immediately. They certainly had time (and would have, if they had a weapon) to hide it or one of the kids run away with it.

Furthermore, the victim's lawyer claims that the SUV was not immediately stopped. We don't know for sure if the aggressors in the SUV left the scene same as the victim.
