All it takes is a little time away from all the Washington DC craziness, and eventually one regains their sanity.
I'd listen to John. He knows this guy Ted Cruz.
I always thought of and referred to Ted as a religious fanatic, but I was wrong.
Lucifer does sound about right to describe this guy.
And republicans need to be asked, do you want Lucifer as your nominee?
And if Ted is in fact Lucifer, what does that make Fiorita?
The right hand of Satan? 😉

John Boehner. Your my new best friend. Keep it coming. 🙂

Great quote assuming he actually said it however the only people who care about it would never, ever vote for Cruz.

**edit**
Its a true statement saw it on the news

“Lucifer in the flesh,” Boehner said, according to the paper. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

I'm pretty sure he never worked with Trump...

OK; so explain me this.

How does somebody like Ted Cruz ends up being a senator? There are only hundred senators out of 300 millions. If I am to believe all the news and gossip about how he is the most hated man in the US, how did he get elected to be United State senator? Didn't real citizens of State of Texas preferred Ted to whoever was running as his opponents in the US senate race?

Anybody wants to theorize this aspect?

He promised the people of Texas he would be for small government. When Senators get elected and their eyes are opened to exactly what that entails, the sane ones realize it's a misguided philosophy and become more practical. Cruz just stays set on full bore crazy. His tactics have routinely backfired on the GOP, making the whole party weaker for it. This is why he was the most hated man in the GOP (not necessarily the US, I doubt he can compete with Kanye for that title) before Trump came along.

The one side of that equation is yes, it's Texas. The other is he had connection$ before being elected senator. And I didn't realize the Ted = Lucifer was old news already before I posted my thread. 🙁

Texas.

globalists. That's why they are not liked. Globalists. The ones pushing LGBT bathrooms, syrian refugees, and any number of assorted issues the people either don't care about or are resisting. Basically they write history and don't care what the masses think. The ones that run the central banks. Hollywood. Jews. Socialists/Communists. The top .5% basically have hijacked all the global governments which is why people like Trump are so popular, even though he won't actually do anything about it.

If you go against their open global free trade philosophy which basically means exploiting certain countries for cheap labor so they can make more money, they don't like you. Likewise, like I've mentioned, they seem to get their jollies off of flooding nations with refugees, and promoting minority races whenever they can as a divide and conquer strategy. They want all the power, and don't want any homogeneous cultures, like Russians, or whatever, to have any power. They want a big melting pot.

Funny I've never thought of myself as a globalist. I don't like more laws that address a supposed problem that doesn't appear to be a problem, you know act like a small government.
I'm alright taking in some Syrian refugees. I should be for more it but I have trouble living the way Jesus asked us to.

Maybe I'm an Irish Jew.....what do you think?

ZOMG! Der JEWS are taking over! Not individuals who happen to be Jews making a name/living for themselves by performing the marketable service they do best, but a race intent on subjugating other races doing it to advance their own race while hiding their activities with false history books!
🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄

Get out of here with your Xenophobic conspiracy nonsense. You can't just attribute it to the "globalists" if you don't believe what you wrote, so don't try to wriggle out of it like it wasn't your own claim/belief.

Well I still could be an Irish Jew.

Because Texas. Any Republican from Texas planning to run for president is an obvious "DO NOT WANT" from me.

It's always the Juice.

I prefer grapefruit. A bit sour but compliments that unleavened bread.

Really? I mean do Mississippi or Alabama have better voting population? How come we do not have most hated senator from those two states? Texas is NOT exactly a backward state. How does one joins the most powerful people (top 100) if he is so universally hated? He obviously had the same personality before he got elected to the US Senate. He probably has held few other public offices in that state.

There has to be something more to it than the glib answer - "Texas"

Honestly, there are few senators who I often wonder how they managed to reach such high position given the handicap of their own personality. You would think one would need to have gregarious and gracious personality but these creep come across as pure evil and I want to take a shower even after seeing them on TV. I also understand that some of it is my own inherent bias as they all happened to belong to one political party 🙂

I explained it to you just fine. Maybe you should read my post again.

rachel maddow covered it.

short version:
tx primary got delayed, weird scheduling of final election screwed over favored establishment candidate by utterly confusing the voters. low turnout meant only tea party zealots were voting.

any other year with normal voting process and cruz would never have been elected.

To me this is transparently a hail Mary by Cruz, and a strange one. As I heard a commentator say yesterday, he really needs a running mate who is thoroughly adorable, like Steph Curry or Taylor Swift. Instead he chose the closest thing to a female version of himself - Fiorina is completely charmless and not a little scary. Very strange choice IMO.

At this point I think America has to reconcile itself with a Trump-Clinton election. I predict this will be the most lopsided election since 1984. Trump may not win a single state. We shall see . . .

what is this about first term senator or governor that they immediately want to become the president/vice-president? is it recent phenomena or it has been like that in the history too?
