TechTV and G4....

Screen Savers is an alright show sometimes, Icons is allright, the worst part is that fvcking judgement day show with the two idiots who know jack $hit about games.
 
What the hell!?!?!?! A thread about TechTV/G4 and nobody has mourned the loss of Leo yet? What the hell have these boards come to?
 
Really...what happend to Mr. Laporte? He just vanished one day and all I had left were the memories of TSS reruns:brokenheart:
 
Apparently they dont really care what people think, because in surfing, some of them must come across boards where people say how they don't like the new channel.

I used to like the screen savers, I'd watch it every day if possible, but now it's total crap. The only decent show now is Cinematech, because it's not really a show...

leo was gone before the merger if i recall. patrick norton was the casualty because he didnt want to move to LA, he had just gotten hitched in San Fransisco and his lady wanted to stay put.

Only thing worth watching on that channel now is Call for Help, well that and X-Play/Reviews on the Run
 
lucky.....american G4 call for help is gone.... I miss the old TSS with leo and pat. Even kevin rosewas better than that new ghey kevin.

Can't stand TSS since Leo left.
Icons is a great show... But it seems like we only get a new episode every 4-5 weeks.
I actually like JD a lot. Sure, I don't agree with everything they say, but I wouldn't expect to. (Actually, it'd probably be quite boring if I did.)

 
Yes i agree the channel has gone to complete crap. i think mostly becuase its gone from techtv...to techtvg4....to now just g4.

While i dont exactly like the show Judgement Day i dont think you can say they guys dont know what they are talking about. I am almost 100% sure that atleast one of them, if not both of them worked in the gaming industry. I read it somewhere but am too lazy to go find a link so google it yourself lol.

TSS was a great show..and while i didnt watch it everday, whenver i got a chance i did. I think the best was really really far back in the day when it was just Leo and Kate, those were t he good days of TSS. TSS now is total crap..well most of the time. I tuned in one time and watched for like 15 mins and learned absoulety nothing and was not entertained at all. that girl is so annoying...

I listen to him on AM640 sometimes. It's too bad about him though.

Leo made TSS. After he left, it was no good. That channel was only truly good back the the ZDTV days. When it became TechTV, it slowly declined, and now it's retarded mush for thirteen year olds, aptly dubbed: G4TechTV.

/me shudders.
