TechTV and G4....

I think even G4 has gotten worse over the last few months. It started out bad, now it's horrible. They must be going for that mtv pre-teen demographic. I think that their programs are less intellegent than the disney cartoon channel.

There is no more content about pc & computer tech stuff any more, just trash about crappy console games for kids and surfing the web.
 
It was best with Leo & Kate on ZDTV. I also liked that show Silicon Spin w/ Dvorak. Sumi Das & Erica Hill were nice eye candy. But like the dot com bust, the channel was slowly going down the drain. All the shows on TechTV sucked besides Screensavers as I liked Leo & Patrick... but once Leo left, it was no longer watchable.
 
I removed it from my favorite list a while back. If I could have remembered how to do it w/o looking at the manual I would have done it sooner. I eventually got fed up with in and started mashing buttons on the remove until I purged it's existance from my TV.
 
This subject has been discussed to death many times before in ATOT. I too was a big fan of ZDTV and then TechTV. G4-TechTV and later G4 just sucked donkey balls.

While i dont exactly like the show Judgement Day i dont think you can say they guys dont know what they are talking about. I am almost 100% sure that atleast one of them, if not both of them worked in the gaming industry. I read it somewhere but am too lazy to go find a link so google it yourself lol.

TSS was a great show..and while i didnt watch it everday, whenver i got a chance i did. I think the best was really really far back in the day when it was just Leo and Kate, those were t he good days of TSS. TSS now is total crap..well most of the time. I tuned in one time and watched for like 15 mins and learned absoulety nothing and was not entertained at all. that girl is so annoying...

I actually like that show, and yeah Tommy (the shorter one) worked on audio stuff in video games for a long time... I think there'es even an old Electric Playground where they show Vic interviewing Tommy before he was part of the show.
 
Tommy Tallerico is the worst thing to happen to TV since the Nick and Jessica variety hour. He's an unfunny abomination, and the worst TV anything that I have ever seen.
 
I have G4-techTv Canadian edition, leo laporte runs a show (that' i'm watching at this very moment) called "called for help". It's pretty good, not as good as the old' screen savers.

The screen savers show, is now called "attack of the show" which is hosted by Kevin rose and some other people at the network.
 
I used to have my wife TIVO TSS, but now it just sucks. I used to like Kevin's dark tips, as well as some of the other downloads, hacks, etc. Yoshi was a damn fine modder, I hope he has a great future in design and developement lined up somewhere.
 
Ya it sucks horridly now....i used to watch that channel all the time, but now i don't even bother checking it, its always some idiot saying something he has no clue about.
