Yeah, it's called a datasheet. LOL.

That s not a datasheet, this is a file that is a mathematical modelisisation of the CPU dynamical behaviour, the file is used directly by the simulator.

A datasheet is this :

http://www.irf.com/product-info/datasheets/data/irf240.pdf

And the Spice model of this transistor is :

.MODEL IRFP240 NMOS LEVEL=3 VTO=3.76 KP=20.79U RD=75.29M + RS=20.68M IS=2.9P CBD=1.933N + CGSO=1.457N CGDO=317.1P

One can eventualy extract those parameters from the datasheet with the help of Matlab....

Exemple of simulation with LTSpice, in this case this is an ADC driving a DAC (Analog to Digital Converter and Digital to Analog converter) :

ltspice_screen_shot.jpg

We can see the sine input signal in red (injected in the ADC) , the output (from the DAC) signal in blue.

On the left is the Fourier transform of the output signal, wich tell us about its spectral distribution.

C2D really has held up pretty well for general purpose usage.I got this spare rig i am posting with that has a E5200,a 9500gt, 6gb of ram and a ssd and it seems to be more then enough for 1080p youtube/netflix and browsing.:thumbsup:Imagine what cheap a $20 E8600 or $35 Q9450 upgrade could do.:)

Benchmarks don't surprise me at all,C2D is 9 years old.
