Looking at companies, and who supported who. Seems all big IT companies supported Kerry's campaign:
-HP
-IBM
-Microsoft
-Sun Microsystems
-Oracle
AND
-Nokia :Q (Go Finland) 🙂
among others...
Why do you think they would have liked to see Kerry elected?

HP CEO was on a short list for a cabinet post.
Foriegn companies could have wanted/supportedKerry, however, I do not think that they could provide funds/in kind without running afoul of US laws.
Remember, Clinton had that proglem with Chinese support.

Yup, the people are for the advancement of civilization support the liberals. Conservatives, as usual, want to revert to an imaginary backward past.

Guess you weren't around P&N for the 2 years before the election.
Basically with both parties being pretty much the same you would simply be trading one set of "Club Members" such as Bush and his Oil buddies for a different set of Corporate Cronies running the Government.
The Religious set was sucessfully recruited by the GOP so they won easily and will continue to win even more easily and take over all 50 states very soon unless the Dems start to figure out how to recruit the Radically Religious back into their fold.
Tech Companies have to stop praying to Bill Gates and turn to God.
