Make up your mind already you can't have cheap + quality. No free lunch remember? Besides its not like that the tech support here in US was so great to begin with. Try talking to some clown in Alabama.
Here at work we have problems with Dell support as well but we have found that most of the times its the connection which is causing the problem.
Who said anything about the prices? I would gladly pay more for better support though.
This is no different than people complaining about manufacturing jobs being moved to china 4-5 years ago. Now when you go to walmart every single thing is Made in China or somewhere cheaper. Consumers will not pay more once they realize how cheap products can really be. Wages there are less than half of what the company would have to pay here in US. Even if they do decide to pay more and hire people in US there is no gaurantee that you will get quality tech support from them.
I hate jobs moving from US as much as you do but paying more to some bum here won't solve anything.
