Stop trying to twist things to fit your agenda, then. TR's report has zero to do with [H]'s actual gaming results with SLI vs. Crossfire.

PCPER has reported what, exactly? I haven't seen them publish anything that backs what TR has reported. Can you show us?

I assume that by the, "I have a bridge for sale if anyone's interested" comment you are calling Baumann a liar? Why? Don't you think they would be continually trying to improve their drivers? Or are you trying to tell us that beta drivers would be their final driver release ever?

It is my opinion that what Baumann said was nothing more than a reactive PR response to the negative publicity. That you don't think so speaks volumes. Very convenient to have a memory subsystem re-write already in progress to replace the Awesome Never Settle drivers and the Never Settle campaign.
What are they going to call the re-write? Never Settle II, and this time, we really mean it?

Anything is possible. But I wonder if we'd be hearing anything about a re-write at all had it not been for the publicity.
It was a direct response in a thread about TR's report. So, probably not. That's not what you were inferring though with your mythical bridge for sale comment.

An opinion with zero evidence to back it up. That's not an opinion, that's slanderous.

Why does it have to replace it? You don't know what they changed with the 12.11 drivers. There's no reason to assume that it cannot build on top of the foundation that's been laid.

Your scenario is just as plausible as mine.

from what I gather, the stuttering issue did not start with the "Never Settle" drivers.

I gather the same. Scott Wasson mentioned he noticed the stuttering with the 12.8's, but that article was put on hold while he took on and Intel article. By the time he got back to testing the GPU's, Never Settle was upon us. 12.11.

You are 100% correct 12.11 drivers paired with the never settle bundle are the last drivers amd will ever release.

Lolololololol

This thread just went bananas. Some truly off the wall things being said now.

You have large issues with me, and still continue to address me. May I ask why?

You're answering a question with a question, and deflecting as usual.

So how about it, why do you post here if you have such issues with tihs forum?

Common sense...if everyone here that had large issues with you stopped commenting this page(and many like it) would be blank.

Just because all the NV fanboys are gone/banned, doesnt mean you need to try to fill their shoes, Keys... Its sad how you used to be one of the more respectable posters around a few years ago and now your posts are barely worth reading anymore

(Yes, personal attack, I barely ever post here so go ahead and infract me/whatever, dont care, it would just be nice to be able to read a thread without constant troll baiting and NV agenda)

Correct. I have had this stuttering since the very first driver, in a wide variety of games. Its not something they just introduced, although it could have been made worse as more people are noticing now.

Probably not. Just like we don't have a published road-map of nVidia's driver team's skunkworks projects. If AMD's hiding stuff by not telling us everything their driver team is working on in detail, what's nVidia hiding?

Where the "F" is the fix for this crap. Seriously. Not that I am playing anything right now that is exhibiting noticeable stuttering right now but, It's just annoying that over a month ago was AMD's admission and I recall them saying they were working to address it. How lond does it take a team of people who's sole job is to work out kinks like this. It's just annoying. Like I stated in a thread not too long ago and got crap about it, AMD's biggest drawback is their shoddy driver team

It's not just a month. According to Baumann and some others here, the rewrite was already well underway. So, it takes longer than a month.

I'm hoping they come out with a fix. But I can't say that I've experienced any issues. I've played Skyrim plenty and the only problem I have is the unbearable input lag with my mouse. Feels like the engine is about 20 frames behind my movements.

I blame the game for that, not the video card.

Even with the fix, I will still have that problem. But I will take anything they want to give me.
