Threads get moved from Off Topic ALL the time. I don't understand why the mods are making an exception for this thread. Its bogus. Why does a thread on DVD X Copy get moved to the software forum but this thread doesn't get moved to the DC forum? Major double standard here.

Unfortunately no, they haven't said anything. But just recently in the BOINC beta they are now doing actual data processing of SETI WU's. So it's at least that much closer.

I can't remember where i saw it but someone quoted an email or post from D.Anderson re BOINC ,in it he said he hoped that it would be released beggining of the new year ,now obviously they've missed that ,but it certainly shows it won't be far off.
Also it has been said that S@H1 will be killed 1month after S@H2(BOINC) is released

I used to crunch SETI last year. After I got a new computer and all I forgot to re-install. Thanks to THIS THREAD in my favorite forum here on AT, I jumped over to the DC forum and saw how to join back up. Stop being a whiner, and suck it up. People scorned my post and basically said since it isn't Team Andantech's DC project it was crap. Now you know why I hate seeing this post stickied. May your team rot in hell.

EVERY TeAmmate and every WU counts!

Just think....we're behind by 88k WU's...we have 3,071 TeAmmates....and, we're about even if not a tad higher than BBR in production....

If every TeAmmate were to add 2 WU's per day...that would give us a 6k per day advantage....taking about 15 days to repass BBR!

They all count...and it's great to have the new additions!

That is just a bald face lie!:| ,people will not scorn a project not run by TA,if a project is not currently run by TA then whoever 1st announces/mentions it in AT DC is encouraged to start a team & gain new members.Its then upto those who run the project to keep its profile visible & recruite new members along with TA help in general.You were mostly likely trying to recruite people to Entrophia for another team!
