It's 90th place, you have to subtract one from the ranking at the official site because they put all non-team accounts as a 'team' ranked #1. This is, of course, crap. If those people wanted to be on a team, they could have joined one.

At least the statsman gets it right.
 
Dasm!! I was trying one of the addins to monitor the console, and thought I'd reset the info, from the stats I can see that it hasn't :|

The big has 921 members on their folding team, and 1671 active processors for the week. Any way you look at it, that means we have to recruit some more folders!

Is the F@H client SMP capable? I been thinking of loaning my dual PPro 200's system to you all. 🙂 Would it run the client any good?
 
I don't think a PPro is fast enough. My PII-400 isn't fast enough for some of these WUs. They need to be done in about 3 days, and the one I'm currently doing will just squeak under the wire.

On the other hand, 90'th is so good, it's the highlight of my day! 😀
 
A question...


I don't see a team signup on the F@H website, but the graphical client does give you the option to enter the team (198). When I run the console version, I just get a "DOS-box" that doesn't have any setup for team or even username. Should I just complete my first WU using the graphical client to "setup" my team and username and then use the console from then on or is there another way? Thanks!
 
ST4RCUTTER, if you have already run the GUI and entered the info you want, you can run the console version in the same directory and it will use the same client.cfg file.

If you start from scratch with the console client, you need to use the -config option to enter your name and team #.
 
Dasm what a pain the last 2 hours have been! :disgust: Fah wouldn't take the name change back from me trying one of the add-ons, I ended up uninstalling everything to do with fah and reinstalling, except that firedaemon wouldn't "take", and had to use the work around that I found to set fah as a service...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. At least the stats count for AnandTech! 😀 Whew!

I see that Tech IMO has moved up a notch, hehe, at this rate we'll be on top of them before they have a chance to shift gears 🙂
 
Woohoo, position 78 now.

Anyway, it looks like we'll be passing the Dutch Power Sheep in a few days, but to pass the Dutch Power Cows we will need many more Folders. More, More, More... 😀

Sorry if I was unclear.

In a command prompt window, go to your Folding directory.

Type FAH2Console.exe -local. This will take you through the config process like the GUI client does.



Edit: Ok, you figured it out before I could type all this in.
