If it has already given you a user-id number, do not simply edit in the username and team number in the client.cfg file.
I am pretty sure it never looks at the name and team number again, once it has given you the user-id.
If you are going to edit in the name and team number, then change it to
userid=0
so that it will have to give you a new userid, after it looks at the name and team number again. :)

Question to you all Folding gurus...

I got a Pii450@504 with 512 megs ram

What are my chances of completing a "WU" within the time? I hope I can help cause I would like to try something new. :D

I got the CMD client running right now. So we will have to see I guess. Is there anything else I need to know?

That system shouldn't have any problems finishing a unit. The ones that do have problems are the old K6-2 233MHz systems. :)

Hehe, that rig should do one well within the 72hr time frame that fah gives you. My Pll 233 was taking about 35min a frame, which works out to about 55 hrs, the one it's working on right now is only taking 13 min a frame. :Q

So we pretty much decided to go after them anyway, besides, being in the top 10 when we were in 150's just seems right for this team..:D

Congrats to everyone on making it from #121 to number #70 during my week on this project! You guys are well on your way to the top 25. I'm off to help other projects for now, but I'll be back sometime in the future. Good luck! :)

Sorry guys/gals. I tried and tried to get the CMD to work correctly. but for some reason it would take almost 2 hours to finish one frame. No way was I going to finish a WU in 3 days...

I will think about working on it when I get a better system.

I will keep my eyes open tho..

Keep in mind, I didn't try the gui install. Only because I thought it would take longer.

Dude, my one comp w/ 233 does take a long time (55hr), but it all depends on what wu's you get. The 55hr wu I mentioned was taking 35 min a frame, currently the wu it's working on is only taking 14min / frame. Every wu counts toward our total against the evil TechIMO!!! Must do more, more, more :)

Hey, give the gui a try, it might work out for you, we need ya crunching for fah, dude!

wow. you guys are insane... making me want to go out and buy computers just to fold... hehe... i'm stuck at 184WU's... this one i'm working on has a projected finish date of 3 days to complete!!! aaahhh.

btw, we are movin up.. top 50 by friday? thrusday :)?

All those guys with the tons of nice Athlon rigs are making me feel pretty puny, also, with my 800MHz Duron system.
