A teacher in Kentucky has been charged with four counts of rape and one count of sodomy after carrying on an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office took Grant County High School teacher Kendall Burk into custody on Wednesday, following allegations that she and the lad engaged in multiple sexual encounters off-campus and during summer break.

Law enforcement was reportedly tipped off by school administrators, who have since released a notice to parents in the area.

According to Local 12, Burk is a 23-year-old science teacher who started at the school in 2018. She will no longer be performing her duties at the school.
