Someone that is older here can probably give us some more insight... But.. weren't teachers a lot more older than today?

Nowadays we have nothing but 22 year old stupid bimbos right out of college making up the majority of teachers today. Can't say that was the case when I was in grade school... Probably even moreso wasn't the case 30-50 years ago.

Well the older teachers that you and I had are retired, so they have to hire new and young ones.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Parents are outraged after a substitute teacher charged with having sex with their children gets a plea deal. The woman won't serve jail time or register as a sex offender. That means there's legally nothing to keep her from teaching again.

“They were cheated,” said the mother of a Terrebonne student.

“Justice wasn’t served. It just wasn’t,” agreed another mother.

These women are the mothers of two students who say they had sex with their Terrebonne Parish substitute teacher. She was 30; they were 16 and 15.

“We trust these people with our kids eight hours a day, and we want them, we hope that as a teacher that they treat them like their own,” one mother told FOX 8.

The charges date back to 2016. Heidi Marie Domangue was booked with indecent behavior with a juvenile under 13 and three counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. The two mothers we spoke to say they made it clear to the district attorney that they wanted to pursue this case. They wanted Domangue, also known as Heidi Verret, to serve jail time, to register as a sex offender and to be prohibited from teaching.

Yikes, a 63 year old with a 4 year old? Jesus Christ. However, I didn't see any evidence at all discussed/listed in that articule. Just that some mysterious person accused her. I'll withhold my judgement there until actual concrete evidence comes out.

CLEWISTON, Fla. - Several Hendry County District School employees have been accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior with students.

Ravin Lee, a teacher at Clewiston High School, has been accused of sending inappropriate photos to students in February, according to deputy superintendent Robery Egley.

Lee is no longer employed by the district.

Laurinda Barraza, a secretary at Clewiston high School, has also been accused of sending inappropriate photos to students through Snapchat. She was put on paid administrative leave before she submitted her resignation.

Parents reported both incidents involving Lee and Barraza.

Lastly, someone at Clewiston Middle School reportedly saw substitute teacher Taylor Cathlett and a student kissing.

"It's unclear if she was being kissed or if she was doing the kissing," Egley said.
