An Oldham County teacher is facing charges that she had sex with a teenager at her home in Harrison County, Indiana.

Amy Hamilton, 40, is charged with felony sexual misconduct with a minor and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to court documents, Hamilton had sex with the teen and gave him alcohol at her Corydon home in March 2018.

Its happening because the teachers are barely older than the HS kids they teach. We need the old mean 50+ teachers of yesteryear that were not attractive.

When I was young in college, I briefly dated an 18 year old in high school.... One of her friends started hanging out with her young male math teacher after school. He was probably 26....short, but had dark hair...probably hit on all the time by the girls in the school. They ended up "running" together for fitness and naturally needed a shower afterwards. Anyhow....he was married I think but on his way out of that relationship...he ended up having to get married to this girl because it was the "right thing to do" a month before she had the baby. I think that marriage lasted 6 months before he moved on again....of course he quit his job at the school the summer they got married....before they could ask any questions and I'm sure the school/schoolboard would rather avoid the press. These situations are pretty common, but it's tough that he messed that girl's life up. She was pretty, but apparently, not very smart.

The parents weren't happy with the situation, but he somehow navigated it without criminal proceedings.

FREEPORT, Texas - A Brazosport High School teacher is out of a job following allegations that she was involved in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student, according to probable cause documents.

Records indicate that a Brazosport Independent School District officer escorted the school's varsity and junior varsity basketball teams in early December to a game in Wharton, where he noticed teacher Gianna Bednarski arrive with a toddler. After the game, Bednarski and the student began talking inside and outside the school, which struck the officer as odd, records show.

I think this sort of thing has been going on for a long time, just only now are people making a big deal out of this.

A 22-year-old high school teacher has been forced to resign after a 17-year-old boy claims she invited him to a group game of 'naked hide and seek.'

Kelsie Schmidt, a teacher at Beululah High School in North Dakota, allegedly sent the teenager nude pictures of herself over Snapchat.

Police said one of the pictures shows the maths teacher naked from the waist up with her hair partially covering her breasts.

According the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies received a report in October of suspected carnal knowledge of a juvenile regarding two juveniles.

Following an investigation, a warrant for Tara Richard's arrest was obtained on January 9, 2019.

In December, Richard, 37, was arrested for allegedly having sex with two high school students in St. Landry Parish.
