From all of the political analysts that I've heard, this is now an absolute lock for the Dems. Most of the conservatives, and guess what--Mr Karl Rove has given up Delaware after this.

She's a bonafide nut. To think that this is anything akin to a tidal wave is hilarious.

well, it is spidey, he's known to harbor perpetual delusions of intelligence.

:hmm:

She's just the latest of the nuts. Bachmann was the first. Minnesotans should be ashamed.

Good to see the Majority Leader jump into the Delaware race, what with his high approval numbers and all.

Chris Coons must have gotten on his hind legs and begged for this kind of "help."

Harry Reid's 'Pet' Can Win Delaware Seat

It's hard to imagine a clumsier way for a Democratic Senate Majority Leader to endorse a candidate than by using the words "He's my pet." But unfortunately for Harry Reid (and fortunately for Christine O'Donnell) that's how he endorsed Chris Coons, the front-running Delaware candidate for Senate. The reactions from pundits and across the blogosphere haven't been kind, and Michelle Malkin has already spotlighted an eager designer who fashioned Harry Reid as the Lord of the Ring's Gollum cradling Chris Coons, "his precious," in one hand.

  • 'Well This Is Odd' writes Mary Katharine Ham at The Weekly Standard. "Is there any way he could have complimented his friend and sounded more off-putting and out of touch with the electorate? ...In my head, Harry Reid is Dr. Evil, creepily patting the head of Mr. Bigglesworth, the next senator from the great state of Delaware."

  • This is 'Sheer Dr. Evil Goofiness' chuckles Allahpundit at the blog Hot Air. Does Reid, "not understand that his endorsement doesn’t help, even in a blue state? His national favorable rating is 26/56; I can’t find numbers for Delaware, but if The One’s approval rating is now underwater there, surely the vastly less likable Reid is deep into negative territory. Why would any semi-coherent Democrat want to nationalize this race in a year when the Democrats’ national brand is pure poison for their candidates?"

  • 'Creepy Harry Reid Hands O’Donnell Her First General Election Ad' concludes Michelle Malkin on her blog. "And go ahead, Democrats. Keep gloating about how you’ve got Delaware in the bag."

As a liberal democrat I have to really chuckle regarding this whole thread. When its really a question of Republican cannibalism. Whoopie, a tea party right wing GOP candidate defeated a more main stream GOP republican in the GOP only PRIMARY.

What does it tell us, it simply means the GOP electorate is disgusted with the main stream GOP leadership and nothing else.

The point is and remains, its no predictor of where the majority Democratic electorate is in Delaware?

Partisans Democrats and Partisan Democrats don't tend to cross party lines, and just because the GOP is now split, does not mean that the democrats are split.

Either way, its bigger advantage to Democrats in Delaware now that the GOP is
split! Many of those in the GOP who did not vote for O'Donnald will simply stay home and not vote.

And at the same time all Delaware dems are united behind their candidate in the General election. And in their hearts the dems know O'Donnald is a NUT.

Do the math, 60% of Delaware voters are dems, 40% of them are repugs, now only 50% of Repubs are behind O'Donnald, and she is a heading for a solid 21% of the general election vote. Where oh where will she come up with that other 30% of the general election vote????????????????????????????

BTW, since she thinks lying to protect a hiding Jew from Nazis is wrong, wouldn't she be a national security risk?

"O'DONNELL: They are — they are doing that here in the United States. American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains. So they're already into this experiment."

She's a smart one. With a complete inability to think, its no surprise the tea baggers are falling over each other to worship her.

She got it wrong. The actual experiment transplanted the brain of a mouse into her skull. Sadly, every time she opens her mouth, she proves that the poor rodent's brain was damaged.

What a waste of a poor little mousie... :p

No. We The People, the hard working, tax paying Americans will no longer sit by as The American Way is demonized.

We are wide fucking awake. No longer will We The People stand by idle, we're ready for November 2. We Work. We have money. And We are ready.

They have Stuart Smiley as their senator too.

At least he's intelligent and can form cogent arguments. These fucking whackos can hardly put two thoughts together. Between them and Carribou Barbie, they might be able to form a complete thought outside of their own party's pre-baked sound bites force fed by Limbaugh and Beck.

By all means, keep insulting.

Seriously Spidey, demanding bets of anyone who happens to disagree with your "We the nutjobs!" bullshit is getting old.
The rest of us are no different than you are, we work, we have jobs and families, and yet we don't go off on tirades about how the government is evil and going to take everything from us until we are little more than serfs working the land once more.
Why? Because it isn't going to happen.
Your sore loser attitude sucks, suck it up and shut the fuck up.

It also makes you look like a child spydey. If you want to be taken seriously act like an adult... Some of your positions may have merit but your attitude and screaming motherfucker every other word makes you look like a nutjob. Maybe you dont care what people think of you and thats fine, but again the adults are talking here so take that crap to 4chan where the rest of the children go....

The republicans had 6 years to prove that the were different, that they could run the country better and ya know what, they couldn't. If anything, they were worse then the democrats. Things aren't gonna be any different this time around. I have no love for either party. They both suck ass.

And people like spidey are so blinded by their hate for the opposite party that they don't realize that simple fact.

If you really want to change things in this country, do not vote for either main party, go third.

I remember that used to be the big call-out when I was in about the 5th grade....challenging each other to a "bet" when we were arguing.

I'll betcha 20 bucks! Of course we had 50 cents to our name, but then again we were about 10 years old, and you're supposed to act stupid when you're 10. I don't think the OP is 10.

What's next, threatening to beat people up? "TELL ME WHERE YOU LIVE I WILL KICK YOUR ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I'll bet you 500 bucks!"

Seriously....grow up.

I am acting like an adult. I have serious skin in the game of Obama's tax and economic policies. That is my work, my earned income, my money, that he is trying to steal by his policies. A few grand on bets is nothing compared to what his policies are to my/our bottom line. For fucks sake, that is my roll at the track or the boat.

See you in November. The People are incredibly motivated.
