Did you REALLY gain that much per year in income from the tax cuts that were enacted during the Bush presidency?

The Democrats' greatest accomplishment has been to convince so many that they are the party of the "working man". The Democrat Party serves those who do not work and are therefore very poor, and those who do not have to work because they are very rich. The Republican Party by default has us wage slaves; they like us as little as do the Dems, but they realize that they can't out-socialize the Dems at servicing either extreme. As we've seen with the Tea Party Republican candidates, the Republican establishment is every bit as opposed to their message as is the Democrat establishment. Two parties, two messages, but pretty much one real program - albeit with two different speeds of implementing that program.
